Vikings should clearly go for it on 4th and 1, right?

He fucked screwed up in a major way. Not just for the team or whatever but for all of America.

We have to keep seeing Richard Sherman now.

Cmon dawg. Playoff history ? Hyperbole? It was a good play nothing more

The Byrant forward flip TD catch was better by a wide margin

I agree. Definitely the best play of the 2016 playoffs so far.

Oh wait, James Jones just caught a pass. It's still top 5.

2nd time this playoffs that the commentators have been silenced during a game.

I could live with this happening more often.

Rams will be hosting Panthers in LA this year. AWESOME.

That sounds a lot better than driving to Oakland which I was thinking about doing. Depending on dates/times I might go to both.

Maybe. Most LA fans continued cheering for the Raiders, and there's a good number of Chargers fans as well. Will be a lot like the Panthers needing to break through the wall of Redskins fans when they started, but the Rams may have an easier time since they've been here before.

^^ pretty much

LA has notoriously shitty fans. Do they somehow expect to keep the stadium filled for 16 games a season, while everyone else is at USC/UCLA games and enjoying the great weather?

^ NO. You're seriously overestimating LA's fanbase, as well as SD's. SoCal sports fans are the literal definition of fair weather. Things aren't that much better up in NorCal, but that's why the Raiders are staying and the Chargers aren't.

there are more than 10 million people in Los Angeles County

pretty sure they will be able to fill a stadium for an NFL team or two

Teams don't move because of "fanbases."

They move so that owners can shake down local municipalities for huge public subsidies. Giant stadiums/arenas with large footprints and several streams of on-site revenue are essential to the business plans of team owners, and they'll be damned if they're gonna pay for their overhead themselves. Any business could be a successful business if the taxpayer was forced to pay for the facilities instead of the owners of said businesses. And there is no empirical evidence to suggest that the building of new stadiums provide any economic or civic boost to the cities in which they reside.

No other country has this sort of endemic system in place where cities like Seattle or St. Louis or Cleveland or soon to be Oakland (again) lose their sports franchises like we do in the US. It's ridiculous, and short of some sort of federal mandate (ha!), then these cities will continue to be periodically stripped of their teams every 25 years or so when the rising operating costs of running a sports franchise can no longer be met by the limited architectural footprint of these stadiums.

More press-boxes! More luxury suites! More fan zones! More restaurants! More Corporate advertising! More tv rights! More Parking!

Nowhere in that formula is fan support even considered.

Relocation is bullshit and nobody should support it.
