^^ I think the guy is a fraud. You saw how his win totals were trending before this year; they happened to capitalize on an incredibly weak schedule this season. I think that 7 year contract is gonna be a major weight around UNC's neck.

i think fedora is a fine coach...but i do think this year was a perfect storm for UNC. i don't necessarily think he's on the verge of building UNC into a powerhouse. besides, the coastal has gotten a lot stronger with some of these hires this offseason.

UNC is smart to try and lock up Fedora. Any idea of the buyout? Obviously if their success continues, he will be gone within a couple years. Otherwise he is already their 2nd best coach of the modern era. I do think Chizik's presence is a big part of their success this year and that schedule was awful so it was a perfect storm for Fedora.

yeah chizik definitely deserves credit...will be interesting to see how long he stays. i can't imagine him staying at UNC as DC long term. i think he'd wanna get another shot at a HC gig.
