I wouldn't drop Keenan quite yet. Still some uncertainty as to whether he could be back late in the year.

NFL teams can bring one player from IR back to the active roster, if he was on the original 53-man list. I'm not optimistic about Allen being brought up since the Chargers aren't gonna make the postseason. But we'll see.

They have to designate him as "IR - designated to return" for him to be eligible to come back. Looks like they put him on regular IR, which ends his season.

at this point in the season, it is pretty pointless to use the IR exception unless you're a playoff bound team. the player can't play in a game for 8 weeks.

I had a solid hold on 1st in a money league this week, 12 man, .5 ppr.

RBs: Lynch, Freeman, Forte, Charles Sims
WRs: Marshall, Allen, Steve Smith, Eric Decker, Cooks

So now I'm looking at Freeman/Sims this weekend with possibly Decker/Cooks and whatever scraps I can find on the waiver in my flex.

The biggest mistake I made was two weeks ago using my #3 waiver priority to grab Starks (my #1 competition owned Lacy and was behind me), and no both Langford and Deangelo are on the wire.

i'm waiver #1 need and due to bye weeks, need a RB. deangelo, cj spiller, langford are the best available..0.5 ppr. deangelo seems like the obvious choice to me. just looking for a second opinion.

While I like Spiller's upside, I think Deangelo has already shown to be effective in Pitt's offense and with Bell out for the season I'd definitely go that route. Langford might only have good value for a couple weeks.

In a keeper league where you only take one keeper and he basically doesn't count as a pick (on the draft board they just list the keeper as everyone's 1st round pick, but if you don't take a keeper you don't get an extra pick there). The only rule is your keeper has to be from the 10th round or later, or waivers.

The #1 team lost Leveon Bell this weekend, benches are fairly shallow and we have no IR, so he was forced to drop him to pick up another RB. I'm sitting in 7th place (top 6 make playoffs) and my team is looking pretty weak. It's a no brainer to try and grab Leveon off the waiver as my keeper for next season right? My other options are Charles Sims/Tevin Coleman/Christine Michael.. so nothing great there.

^I'm in similar leagues, but the "10th round or later" is based on the player's draft position, not how you acquired them. So in my league, with Bell being drafted in the first round, that's his value regardless if he is traded or dropped and someone adds him via waivers. I'd get the rules clarified before I wasted the roster spot. But if for some reason that is allowed, then yes, absolutely grab him and stash him.

^Yeah in the 9th. I'm also in 7th place and playing the commish this week who is in 6th. My team is pretty much garbage other then Julio and Deangelo Williams so I've convinced him to trade his 3rd/6th round picks for those two. So if I can go into next year with Leveon as my keeper and an extra 3rd/6th (I think I'm losing 9th/10th), that should be golden.
