Its not just unfair because cleveland is outmatched but also because they werent allowed to play for like 6 weeks while the Warriors got so much experience and were pushed to their limits by okc. I think cleveland could have put up a better fight if they were battle tested 6/5/2016 10:01:45 PM |

It's not just that they're obnoxious ... They just are bandwagon fans. And the 73 wins has them thinking they're the most dominant team of all time, which is ridiculous. They've only seriously been tested in one series in two years, and if Durant and Westbrook had stopped chucking up poor shots last series, they wouldn't even be back in the finals playing whichever weak team the Eastern Conference spit up.
And it's not like any of them were around during the Baron Davis years or could name the 4th and 5th players of RunTMC, either. And the fact that they all ride Draymonds jock strap without realizing that he would be nothing without the rest of the dubs makes them insufferable in conversation.

Yeah I lost a ton of money backing a 73 win team most of the year . Does that sound right to you?
I faded them against okc because the line was way off.
I faded them vs cleveland because I was just wrong. Cleveland is too bad defensively. They gotta trade love and Irving it's not happening with those guys.
And the days of anyone singlehandedly winning a title on offense are over since the advent of zone. But lebron has clearly lost a lot on that end. Hes still a great player but he needs to find his shot. His turnovers really hurt the cavs when he tries to force it to the basket 6/6/2016 9:03:47 AM |

I don't think so. The gap between these two teams are even bigger than last year. So Cavs can't win 2 games now. Probably they win next game at home and they are done. 6/6/2016 11:22:46 AM |

50% cleveland 25% sas 20% gsw 4% okc 1% por, tor, miami combined. And that's basically the nuclear option if every other team sustained massive injuries
It's crazy how overlooked cleveland was. And how some people are trying to downplay their 8-0 start. Atlanta was playing really good ball the 2nd half of the season and they swept them. Cleveland looks like a juggernaut right now especially with curry injured and sas-okc going both looking vulnerable" |

Yeah they just have bad chemistry. When things start going poorly they fall apart.
Kyrie is SO bad. A starting pg can't have 1 assist. I mean if he was 13-21 fg with 1 assist it would be one thing. But 5-14 is just ridiculous.
The real surprise has been dellavedova he played well last year and he's been a train wreck I'm this series.
Lue isn't playing Frye which is a clear mistake. Jr smith has been invisible. Lebron has struggled on offense.
They need to make some major offseason moves it would be senseless to bring this same roster back.
They need chris paul badly. I think carmelo could help them. If those guys aren't ready to make moves then lebron should move during free agency. If he comes back to Cleveland they'll make the finals again and get licked again. That's brutal for his legacy 6/7/2016 7:31:54 AM |
face All American 8503 Posts user info edit post |
Also want to point out at the time i set those odds curry had a sprained mcl. He was far from certain to still be playing at a high level.
I think he's gonna need offseason surgery. He already pulled out of the Olympics which is a huge decision considering h8s shoes out sold lebron and he's got a few hundred million on the line with his under armour sales and merchandising equity 6/7/2016 7:58:30 AM |

Very smart move to withdraw from the invitation of Olympics. Good time for him to do surgery and get charged for the next season, which is very likely to be a 3-peat for the Warrior's new dynasty. 6/7/2016 9:04:25 AM |

I mean the series isn't technically over. I don't see CLE winning both games at home, but it's possible. They couldn't have played any worse in game 2, so I would imagine game 3 will be a lot tighter. If they lose game 3 though, I def think it'll be over and the Ws will sweep them. 6/7/2016 11:47:36 AM |
shoot All American 7611 Posts user info edit post |
They surely will fight back in game 3, but game 4 is crucial. If they still win game 4, there's a chance to play game 7. I think GSW will try their best to get the series point in Cleveland and celebrate the champ at home. 6/7/2016 11:59:53 AM |
UJustWait84 All American 25821 Posts user info edit post |
Nah. They lose game three and it doesn't matter if they win game four. They'll get to the fly to Oakland to have the Warriors close it out and win at home. Game three is basically their only chance to swing the momentum. 6/7/2016 12:19:58 PM |

I mean as of right now it LOOKS like a sweep.
But nba has so much incentive for extra games. And cleveland should play much better at home.
I think warriors take it in 5. Too much $$$ on the line for a sweep. I mean heck gsw loses millions themselves off the gate.
But I'd be more surprised to see cleveland force game 6 than get swept at this point.
Game 1 was just so ugly for cleveland. Game 2 was an abomination.
Cleveland isn't scoring right now. That can possibly be fixed. But im not sure their defense can be 6/7/2016 12:39:14 PM |

C'mon man, by $$$ on the line, do you mean for the NBA so the refs have a say? Or for GSW and the home attendance? I'm sure its not the latter 6/7/2016 12:58:17 PM |

Yeah typically the refs intervene to increase the probability of the series going an extra game in cases like this.
Example game 5 gsw vs okc the foul calls were clearly going in gsw favor.
