Just heard from a friend who has been on top of all this:
"Something huge about to break on the boards at UNC......Apparently the BOT has been holding back a potential non-NCAA but concerning violation/incident with the university concerning Butch Davis. We have heard no response from the BOT in regard to Butch's dismissal because this has been known by a very exclusive few or weeks."

I love the position they are in here. They need to be careful b/c of the COI hearing still looming, they don't want things to get worse there, but there is no doubt they want to stem the flow of hatemail and threats to cut funding. They'll have to make their case sooner or later to those that matter wrt to the program and then its just time till it makes it way to us.
