While if it's in Charlotte the cost to go will be much less, I really hope it's not, because that is a crappy bowl that Carolina deserves to go to, not us this year.

I mean if the game is in Orlando, I'd be okay with getting a plane ticket for early on the 28th and get down there early after noon, then leave early on the 29th and get back here that afternoon. That way you don't have to get a hotel room or anything...so with the plane ticket, and game ticket it shouldn't be that much...

WEll the random flight I just pulled up would get me to Orlando at 9 AM. That bowl game isn't until 6:30. Gives you time to see the area and get drunk before the game.

Ok someone please tell me if this is weird... my cousin tagged herself in one of my pics from Ireland and is now arguing with me that it's a "compliment" that she wants to take the picture, "edit it" (read: bump up the contrast and then make another one in black and white with the building only in color), and hang it on her wall. W. T. F. I'm kinda pissed because I feel like it's messed up to take someone else's picture and "play with it" so that it better suits your tastes... It's their picture!

Doesn't seem like that big of a deal, Sam. She loves what's in the picture, just wants to screw with the colors and make it more to her own artistic liking. If she likes the content enough to put it on her wall then sounds like you took a great pic.

What bothers me is she apparently does this all the time. Hello, copyright laws? I know I'm not a professional photographer, but if she's doing this to anybody's pictures, including professional ones, that's messed up. And honestly, she NEVER gives credit to people when she reposts these. Ever. If she wanted to print it out and hang it on her wall, fine - but don't butcher it when I'm obviously not ok with it..

Unless you're a professional photographer that's missing out on royalties or something, it's dumb as hell to be pissed about her using a picture of yours. Take it as a compliment that you took a cool picture and she wants to hang it up, even if she alters it some.

That's the thing, it won't be altered some. It will be completely different.

I already told her I'd be more comfortable if she wouldn't mess with it and just appreciated the picture as is - if that makes me a bitch, then fine. But I'm not ok with someone freely taking other people's pictures, professional or not, and editing them to her liking then reposting them or hanging them on her wall.

Sorry, but I'm sticking by my decision.. Maybe it's because I've seen her "minor editing." And because she apparently does this to pictures all the time, which imo, is not cool.... Now I'm getting the guilt trip because she apparently wanted to edit it and crop shit out, print it, then give it to me for Christmas. I don't really understand that, but ok.

If she had originally just asked me from the get go instead of just tagging herself, then telling me she was going to "play with it" after I asked her why she tagged herself in a random picture, and not even asking if that was ok or if I would mind, I might feel differently about it. But, it's over and done with, so whatever
