i FINALLY found a cleanser (face) that i think is gonna work long term for me.

its

pluses:
affordable
not a soap so doesn't over dry
doesn't have the acne medicine in it, so doesn't over dry
isn't abrasive ("exfoliating")
can use on wet or dry skin
TINGLES
gets ALL of the dirt/oil/makeup off of my skin...i mean all...w/o using anything else

minuses:
none so far

waiting on my chin to clear but but after two days of use, it already is clearing. i don't think i ever NEEDED the acne stuff in my face wash to begin with. i just needed to be more diligent about washing my face before bed (whoops). but the whole reason i wasn't is cause my old wash was drying out my face and making my cheeks red.

so yay!!!!! i'm excited. and wanted to share. haha.

I loved noxzema but they changed the formula recently and it makes me break out. Too much eucalyptus oil I think. So I switched to Neutrogena's Deep Clean Cream cleanser for every day facial washing, I really love it. I also use Neutrogena's Acne stress control twice a week.

yea i need something topical or an in between acne wash i think. maybe if i use the acne one once or twice a week i can reduce redness and not have the chin breakouts. they are seriously out of control. i'm like a pizza face.

ok not really, but coming from someone who went all through high school and college being the WORST about washing my face (before bed, etc) and taking off makeup and NEVER breaking out, more than one pimple at once really stresses me out. which probably isn't good for the breakout situation hahaha.

yeah, I had to give up all milk (can't even have it in my coffee) before my breakouts stopped. Now I'm super careful about what I put on my face and whether I have any milk products. Milk is bad for my face but, ice cream, cheeses and yogurt are fine.

I think TJ Maxx and Marshalls stores might still have bathing suits? Also, if you're in Raleigh - there is a bathing suit place right off Glenwood Ave by Chipotle.

Also, I think this has been asked 3000 times in this thread before but my face is very dry due to winter right now... and it's not physically obvious but I can tell. Best lotion for face? I'm setting someone up there... And go...! Thanks!

^I am a big fan of slathering Aveeno's clear complexion facial moisturizer all over my face daily. For serious dry patches, Burts Bees has a facial lotion I love, but I don't remember what they call it. It's very soothing though

do you guys have any suggestions for what to do when you feel fat in a bikini? wear a one piece? i feel fat in my one piece, too. mostly because i feel like when you wear them everyone is like, "duh she is wearing a one piece cause she is fat." should i just wear a cute cover-up the entire cruise? i guess that is a possibility. i mean clearly i need to lose weight but that isn't really an option in this time. i can lose some, but not enough to not feel like a fatass. but i guess dropping like 6lbs can't hurt.

poor me.

i meant to be skinny by now but i have been super unmotivated. now that i put on my bathing suits, i'm motivated. holy lard ass from hell. and beer gut. and zomg if i had the funds i think i'd seriously get lipo (gross).

UGHHHHH. i might get another one piece and then another 2 piece with not tie bottoms. if i get wider bottoms (instead of strings) i guess that will be better for my hip fat. that is the main problem. stupid hip fat and big butt. ughhh i'm so frustrated!!!

/whine.

khcadwal, this may sound corny but my advice is to just give yourself a break. It's one thing if you're continuously gaining weight or if you're overweight, but I don't think either of those apply here. If you said you want to lose 30 lbs I'd agree that maybe you should lose some weight and get a cute retro one-piece in the short term. But six? is that going to make you happy with your body? I think you need to get over it.

^^ lol i DO need to lose 30lbs. 6 is what i can lose by the time i leave for the cruise. so no, that wouldn't make me super happy but i mean i guess it'd be worth it to start trying now? i have a retro one piece, it still looks horrible on. i will probably just wear a cover up the entire time. it will be fine.

i have gained 20 - 25lbs over the past yearish (well since jan) :/ no bueno.

Buy some of those cute cut out one piece bikinis. I think they're flattering on most shapes but especially currier girls (think Kim Kardashian).

yea, i found a jcrew one that is cute and a calvin klein swim dress that is cute. i think i'm going to get both.

it just sucks, a lot not being comfortable in my own body. i'm sure a lot of females can relate. i've never really felt like this before. but it also doesn't help that i'm going on the cruise with some VERY weight conscious people. they are constantly discussing weight (and they are both very tiny...i used to be smaller than both of them, now i'm bigger, blah) so it really kinda weighs on my self image. *shrug*

is this cute? i think it is pretty cute. swim dress:
http://www.amazon.com/Calvin-Klein-Womens-Bandeau-Dress/dp/B002YX06L4/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=I1601N7L9EMFN0&colid=3BK6UXOC5862D

i can't decide if i like the black or mink. i actually really like the mink, but don't think it would look as good on me (i'm pale). black is flattering on everyone so i guess that is the safer bet. i like them both though. i think i'm going to get it.
