Lost out on Burnett to the Blue Jays. Signed Gary Bennett and Deivi Cruz today. Cruz is the new Abraham Nunez and not a bad player, might even could start at 2nd.

Signed Sidney Ponson to a 1-year deal today. Also signed Brian Daubach, didn't even know he still played.

Cards signed Juan Encarnacion today to a 3-year deal. He is an OK player I guess. He hit .287 last year with 16 homers. I guess he will play right and Bigbie in left and of course Edmonds in center. That leaves John Rodriguez and So Taguchi as backups. I can live with those 3 starting with those 2 for backups.
