After I thought about it, maybe Eden can't manipulate normal people. Only those with powers maybe? She couldn't convince Mohinder, however she did say she didn't use her power and we are unsure if he has a power at all. But it seems like she only uses it on people with powers...or at least what we have been able to see so far.

I am still confused what Mohinder is going to do. It's cool to find out what the boy in his dream means now.

Oh and Jessica is hot!

Think about it, the cheerleader they were supposed to save was the cheerleader in the painting. The cheerleader in the painting was jackie, and not claire.


I don't think they saved the world.

I think Eden is just his lackey. Didn't Bennett tell Eden to be there and stop Sylar? I am interested to know what they're going to do with Sylar, and how the younger Petrelli is going to get out of trouble. Sylar is essentially neutralized now, and I think he'll stay that way. We still don't know why he was slicing brains out though.

And the radioactive guy is still at large.

But, Bennet and Mohinder were connected, and so was Sylar. They're all in on the same thing, I think, of finding the Heroes, and that's probably how Sylar was tracking them down. What exactly is their purpose is still unknown.

And DL may be dead (but somehow I don't think he is). And Hiro is also up to something.

I'm glad though they aren't taking the Lost approach, and are actually moving things along at a healthy pace.

Well, it looks to me like Sylar isn't stealing powers, since he started to cut the chearleaders head off, and regeneration doesn't seem like it would directly link to mind powers. Though, I'm not sure how he's tracking these people down in the first place. Him staring at the newspaper clipping in the trophy case suggests he's just following suspicious news leads and word of mouth (like how he was easedropping on the conversation at the diner when she was telling everyone about how she can remember everything). But he had that big map in his house, like Chandra's whose came in part from that genetic mapping program thingy. I'm still in the dark about how saving the cheerleader stops Mr. Nuclear from blowing up (or maybe he's just a red herring). The theory about him absorbing both the regenerative and radioactive powers to become an everlasting bomb sounded about as plausible as any.

now i know that nerdy guy at the end of the preview when we hear "i'm syler" isn't syler is he? i can't see his mouth move, but its just a glimpse. and i think peter is gonna lay a smackdown on his brother at some point. that snide little grin needs to be punched........maybe claire can do it

also, i don't think jackie getting killed is relevant to the story. she served her purpose as foil bitch, so it was time for her to die

I agree, I don't think Claire has been saved yet. Everything in the paintings have happened so far. Claire was chased up the stairs, Peter was "killed", and a cheerleader was on the floor with a wound to the head. It's definitely not over with her life being in danger.

I don't think Eden's power is limited to those with powers. I just think she hates using it for some reason. There's something in her past we'll find out about later why she hates making people do things against their will. Maybe the first time she accidently used her power it was a hateful comment? "Why don't you just jump off a bridge you asshole! ... oh wait, shit, they jumped"

I can't stand Mohinder. I really wish his story line would just end.

Someone asked about Sylar knowing of the locations of heroes. Could he have cracked the code to get into the file with all of the heroes names and locations. FYI, I paused the screen at that point, and no names jumped out at me. Most of the main characters in the series were on the screen, followed by about 4 names I didn't recognize at all.

DL isn't going to be dead. He may have "phased" out right when he heard the shot, who knows.

As far as we know, the "i'm sylar" guy is sylar. You said you didn't see his lips move...the guy that was talking had his back to the camera, not the guy that was facing the camera.

I agree, the story is moving along at a great pace, and each new twist seems thought out instead of just thrown in there to do something with the story.

Hiro said save the cheerleader. Not necessarily which one.

Though the preview commercials allude to Claire, it easily can be a marketing ploy to cover up a possible plot twist.

Yes I am pleased with the story line so far. Keeps you interested, unlike some other shows [cough] Lost[/cough].

What do you think Peter's excuse will be to the cops? He is a stranger in the town, there is a dead cheerleader (presumably) and he has blood all over him. He's in a deep hole and I am sure his brother will be pissed.

Also a thought...go go gadget Peter is sticking his head into everything, trying to save the world. What if in the end he gets near all the people with powers in NYC...such as Radioactive Guy and can't control the special power he just gained from him and implodes or something.

I never thought about Peter being the stupid guy trying to save the world but ends up being the cause of the problem...

The reason Eden doesnt want to use her powers to to much is because she killed her step-mom doing it once, stopped the bitches heart by telling her she wished she could die, the interactive novel on the heroes website has some insight into some stuff

just went back and looked episode 6 ("Better Halves") and at the beginning shows all of the paintings except the latest one. While it seems as though everything that was painted came true, there are a few inconsistancies. In one painting, Hiro and Ando are at the school in front of what appears to be the trophy case, with a blood covered bannar behind them that looks like it says "Homecoming." Another is in the painting with Claire running up the stairs. Although Peter was there when it happened, he was not in the painting. At first I thought the discrepencies showed that they were changing the future with their actions, i.e. at first he's not there, but then he is after he discovers whe he has to do. Howver, in the show, Isac specifically says that the painted all of them the night before, except the one with Peter lying on the ground, which he painted "weeks ago." Not sure what to think now.

The beginning of the show is cool because it shows all the paintings up to that point, and there is one of Niki/Jessica stealing the money, which it doesn't seem that anyone noticed even though it was full screen for a few seconds. There is another right beside it of a person standing in front of a stream or something, but there is no detail to it so you can't really tell what it is. Also, going back and thinking about Peter finishing the one painting, it would have been kind of cool if he painted his own "death" instead of the cheerleader.
