I agree with this. Also add Maryland with Juan Dixon at PG and UNC with Felton/McCants

UF didn't really have a distributor, but Brewer, Noah, Horford, Green, Humphrey could all pass reasonably well so it didn't matter if they didn't have a dominant PG.

if your pg isn't a distrubuter being a great shooter can offset that. Green and Humphrey were both gamebreakers with their shooting. Green was also pretty decent at penetrating. Actually, when they won the nit in 05-06 Green carried them.

Not good or bad luck. We have put ourselves in the position then the good fortunes have happened. Without being in that position it never happens. I believe he knows how to win the close games. The ones where we fall down past 10 it seems like from there we play HORRIBLE. Somehow today we got down 12 and then we had a run. Lets say we knew how to do that vrs unc and clemson could have been different. We are growing. Still think we lose to duke and go to 2-4 but then win the next 2 home games and are 4-4 midway through. I still think we can finish 8-8 and this year 8-8 is going to be 5th-10th place. Go 9-7 and we could be 9-7.

this was a lucky win, and we let FSU beat themselves. they had a ton of fouls at the end of the game, we hardly scored any baskets and got a foul on us just about every time we went for the basket.

Javi is still hopeless on the defensive end and can't shoot to save his life, but overall, between him and Marques our PG play has improved to the point where we can win games with them. At this point, I'd say we were are "Brandon Costner pulling his head out his ass" away from being a decent team. Thank god for Courtney Fells.

i saw Kobe take almost the exact same shot the other night against Cleveland (not at the end of the game mind you) and it had the same hook on it, although it was only wide left by about a foot, versus 3

but still

when the pressure is on, that's when real winners come through. this kid isnt that, but neither is the rest of our team

yeah, fells made a lucky 3 there, but you know sid was telling them to get the bucket in the first 10 seconds so that FSU couldn't run the clock all the way down on their end. i'm guessing that he called a play for fells to shoot the 3, but didn't plan on fells forcing it up the way he did and have it bank it. it worked out though, so props to everyone involved.

obviously the players had to make the plays, but sid was definitely a part of the way things went down.
