4) djeternal and said lady friend are fighting for unemployment because they were fired for the computer usage, while other people are still employed and use the computer in similar ways

Well I think I got a jerb, should be starting a week from Monday. But I don't want to say anything more about it because it will jinx it

We are still waiting to get our hearing date to appeal the unemployment denial. I have been taking screencaps every time I see one of her current employees on Facebook. I should have a nice thick folder of evidence once the hearing takes place.

dj, you should know better then to use company computers for personal shit such as surfing tww, cybering with your coworker or updating your facebook/myspace account, you are just asking for it. The excuse that everyone else does it does not fly....everybody speeds also but not everyone gets caught.

Maybe you will make this chick your wife and you can tell your kids one day how you met......

You are correct, except for the speeding analogy. The reason for my termination was "policy violation". I have tons of proof that EVERYONE ELSE in the office violates the same policy and that my boss knows about it. And, they continue to do so. Thus, the 3 of us that were fired were obviously discriminated against for whatever reason. Furthermore, we never received a warning, which is REALLY frowned upon by the ESC.

^^ she installed it to try to catch the 3rd employee doing some shit. However, she only installed it on 3 of our computers, and not everyone's. Which, from what I understand, is discrimination.

she had no reason to choose me. I was exceeding all expectations, and I received a $5k performance raise less than a month before I was fired. And my "lady friend" was the top earner in the company. So yeah, she had NO reason to single us out

heh, if I remember that McDonalds - coffee incident correctly, that McDonalds had a history of serving scalding hot coffee before (hotter than normal). The lady that was burned ended up having to have skin grafted as treatment.
