i have them losing in the finals, and many have them in the final 4, but in my pool at least, more people have Louisville, UNC and Memphis winning it

I am one of 2 people in my usual pool of ~15 people that has Pitt winning with everyone else mainly on louisville or unc with a memphis or two in there. I picked them as a team that had a legitimate shot to win it who would be picked by very few other people in my pool.

But it might come back to bite me as they are obviously not the best team out there, heck I dont think theyd make my top 4 of strongest teams based on how everyone is playing specifically in this tournament so far. And the reason it would bite me is that I am still in first in my pool (some others caught up to tie me yesterday though) but would almost certainly be done if they lost unless something wacky happens in other regions

Calhoun has one more NC than Lute, which is a big deal, but their records at UConn and Arizona are pretty similar, Calhoun at 553-202 and Lute at 589-108. They're both elite programs over the last 20 or so years.

^yeah, that was a typo, and I don't really agree that he tore down all the good he built though he did kind of fuck the program over in the short term as far as their coaching and recruiting situation since he came back and then retired. He did build the program from basically nothing though, so you can't hate on him too much if you're a UofA fan.

there's been somewhat of a dropoff since Lute's glory years but come on, they've made the tourney both years since he took a leave of absence/retired and are now in the sweet sixteen. UConn wasn't even in the fucking tournament in 2007 and they lost in the first round last year just like Arizona, so you really don't have room to be talking shit about being gained on. UConn's last Elite Eight was in 2006, Arizona's was in 2005, get some facts and come back and see me.
