That was retarded... I would have half a second to throw and 6 of my NINE picks were on lofts after I got drilled. I was getting rid of the ball after the computer drop back on most of them too.

Admittedly, after the fumble return for the TD I got pissed off and started button mashing on offense until I got back in it early in the 4th..

After trailing 3-0 and being held scoreless until halfway through the second quarter, the Florida State offense quickly returned to form. So I won entry into Play'n'trades NCAA football tournament through 99.9. I've never played NCAA football '10, I haven't played NCAA football since maybe '06? And I have not played any football game on the 360.

This should be fun.

Any recommendations on how to play/who to play as? I was gonna be a newbie and just pick the best team, I'm assuming Florida.

When I used to play - I preferred teams with RB speed, who's got the fastest RB's?

Florida is good and has lots of speed but you need to be able to use their offense. GT could be almost unstoppable in the hands of the right person. I'd probably go with a balanced team like USC though.

In a classic SEC defensive slobber knocker, full of the refs changing the rules mid-game, Ole Miss knocks off #3 Bama 30-12 in a major victory in the SEC West race.

The Ole Miss D-line was key, putting pressure on Bama throughout the second half and allowing the secondary to play tight thus leading to pivotal interceptions. Junior DT Lawon Scott lead the attack with 2 sacks "Our coaches adjusted at half time... they said that their O-line was HUGE, but slow, and that their TE and RBs rarely stayed in to block so we started using speed to attack the outside and got pressure on them all half. When asked about Alabama RB and Heisman candidate Mark Ingram, Scott said "Who? Did he play today?"

#3 Alabama is upset by #14 Ole Miss in what could be characterized as the weirdest game ever after the first half. 5 ints, balls going to people I didn't throw to. And if you try to snap real quick and accidentally hit the button again, it shouldn't throw. haha

ha yeah. glad your team had butter fingers. My line went from blocking everything to blocking nothing. My team just flopped after that blown coverage where you went up 7-6. My defense did pretty good though, but that's about it.

South Carolina was able to best the Kentucky Wildcats, 28-7. It was a rain soaked afternoon in Columbia, but Eric Baker was able to rush for 127 yards and lift his team. Coach Spurrier was livid at his team at halftime for being tied with the kitties 7-7. A pair of missed first half field goals and an interception in the red zone led to the halftime score. Starting QB, Stephen Garcia went out of the game early in the first quarter with a sprained thumb. The backup QB, Aramis Hillary came in and threw a pretty pass that went to a wide open Joe Hillis who took it for 6. Kentucky was unstoppable on the ensuing drive. Spencer Lanning missed two 45 yarders short (wtf mate? I had full power) in the first half.

Chris Culliver ran back the short second half opening kick off for 6 putting South Carolina up for good. The USC defense came out of the locker room and pressured the Kentucky oline all half and were able to setup two short South Carolina scoring drives by forcing interceptions.

USC Stats:
Aramis Hillary - 5-9 for 84yards 1TD 1INT, also had 32 yards rushing on 3 carries
Eric Baker - 22 rushes for 127 yards
C. Geathers - 8 tackles, 4 for a loss, 3 sacks (POTG)

UK Stats:
M. Hartline - 15-31 169 yards
D. Locke - 21 rushes for 121 yards

USC is now at 2-3 on the season, 1-2 in conference. Next week they head down to face off against Alabama, who is now coming off of a tough loss against Ole Miss. The USC defense is going to be tested mightly against the vaunted Alabama rushing attack.

Haven't had a problem getting on XBox Live, but couldn't get EA Servers the last two mornings. Is their server capacity really that deficient. Could there be another problem? Sorry I haven't been able to play yet since I can't get into EA.
