Big East isn't down much at all... not compared to football...

That game tonight is evidence of that. Marquette was picked to finish 9th in the conference.

And I'll say it... thoroughly unimpressed with Duke tonight. K State will roll them tomorrow if they play like that in a de facto road game.

that is meaningless, plenty of good teams struggle with outmatched opponents early in the season...hell, Syracuse lost to Le Moyne last year in the preseason and it worked out fine for them.

last I checked most Izzo teams suck cock in November and just kind of bumble into a 4 or 5 seed then turn it up for the NCAA Tournament. Not sure that's worth the #2 ranking but then again unc was #8

Not sure I get the K State hate. They looked far more impressive than Duke last night. Plus they just got back their top inside presence Curtis Kelly, who averaged 12, 6.5 and 2 blocks last year..

Duke/KSU should be a battle tonight. Kansas State looked much better last night than they did in the other games I've seen them play. The line I saw had Duke -5.5 which sounds about right to me.

I still can't imagine why any young person would want to play for Frank Martin in Manhattan, KS.
