^^Completely agree... Where were Gragic and Dudley? Dudley has been extremely consistent with his 3-point shooting with about 10 pts/game.

I'm hoping it they can win it... if they win next game and steal one on the road...

Admit it. Everyone who was watching the game last night was thinking exactly what I was thinking. Which is - dammit the lakers (by lakers I mean everyone But kobe) are playing crappy and Kobe is gonna have to win this one for us just like he stole game 4 against phoenix back in the 2006 playoffs.

Kobe for life. I feel so bad for the suns. I think they pissed Kobe off. Black Mamba is gonna come out like gangbusters in game 4. Better leave the wife and kids at home for this next game.

talk about the Lakers playing out of their minds the first 2 games yet 60 points from Amare and Robin Lopez (averaged 8 in the regular season) is just another day at the office. Hell, by reading some of these posts I would guess by the time everyone starts playing their normal game the Suns will score 150 points a game and not lose another game.

i think people are confusing the Lakers "playing out of their minds" in the first 2 games with the Suns reverting back to their old "zero defense" strategy

You're fucking retarded.

All season long Artest and Farmer have been missing threes and Shannon Brown has been inconsistent.

In games one and two they were lights out.

Last night they had open 3s and finally didn't hit them (going 9 of 32 from 3 point land). The Suns played a ton of zone and were able to shut down the lanes and hinder Kobe from driving as much and clogging the lane when he got there. They had plenty of open shots, but they shot like they did the whole season and missed a bunch. If they had hit the shots like they did in games 1 and 2, they probably would have won the game.

Overall...the Lakers are a better team than the Suns, but not by much. With Bynum out, they are probably even. This next game is going to be very tough. I expect the Lakers to come out on fire. But if the Suns bench finally steps it up for a game like they've done the whole season (I'm talking the whole bench, not just Dudley in game 2), then they should have a great shot at winning.

The Suns don't have a chance at winning the series if they let the Lakers score 120 points a game

They didn't "let" the Lakers score 120.

With the shots that the Lakers were given in games 1 and 2, they score maybe 105 on a regular night. But Farmar, Arest, and Brown couldn't miss. The Suns defense wasn't good by any means in the first two games...but every Laker that stepped on court was on fire.

Last night was what you've seen from the Lakers for most of the season.

The Lakers have averaged 120+ points per game this series

The Suns, with the exception of the first round of this years' playoffs, don't play defense

They better hope Amare comes to play every single game though because they're going to need for him to get at least 30 and 10 every game for them to have a chance in this series

Basing regular season results on playoff predictions isn't wise. See: Cleveland

Fisher was going for the ball. Nash is a pus anyways. Last time I checked, Nash owes Kobe 2 MVPs.

They didn't play defense against the Spurs?? I must have missed something in that series.

And their defensive efficiency ratings aren't as bad as the common fan would think. They give up a few more points, but their offensive efficiency rating is tops in the NBA. The D'Antoni days of being the worst defensive team in the league are over. This Suns teams might not be confused with the Boston Celtics on the defensive end, but they actually mix-up schemes and can come up with a stop every now and then...things that Suns teams of the past could not do.

^^ Yeah because Nash had control over the MVP voting

Also there are about 100 other guys in the NBA that are bigger pussies than Steve Nash. Dude constantly gets bloodied and keeps playing.

Paul Pierce would have fake a coma after getting elbowed by Duncan like Nash did in the 2nd round.

Uh Nash absolutely Can do something about it. He should forfeit his MVPs and declare Kobe the rightful MVP of those seasons. Simple as that.

whoops, I meant with the exception of the first 2 rounds, the Suns don't play defense...which they really haven't over the years until early in these playoffs

I actually thought they might make this series competitive after seeing them in the first 2 rounds...but then after seeing the Lakers score at will on them in the first couple games, I figured they are done

Led to ten minutes of bullshit cause I'm going to miami for the week tomorrow without her so I'm not allowed to call girls hot.

But for the record we are both right. She's hot and fat

Is Howard going to break a neck tonight? I mean they don't look intentional but jeez...

Also, did anyone else hear Ray Allen telling Perkins to shut up and that "I need you to get up and make these two free throws?"

He was falling down, he couldnt help that.

and the Celtics are some of the best actors in the game.

Perkins always looks pissed...Davis is crosseyed and borderline dumb.

Garnett always instigates. They have so many whiners on that team. Pierce acting like every foul is a life threatening injury. Wallace the technical foul machine.

I dont like either team but...good lord they are acting it up tonight.

There is honestly no one on the Magic I like even a little. I guess Redick, though I hate to admit that. I love Ray Allen and I have to admit I kind of like Paul Pierce too, so that's why I'm pulling for Boston.

V he's trolling. just let it go.

Not to derail discussions on tonight's game, but Namwob... are you honestly that blind? To say Nash is a pussy is fucking unbelievable; he's broken his nose and got stitches in one series... some players play their entire career without having blood drawn. If you saw how he adjusted his broken nose, just putting it back into place, despite it being entirely purple, and then playing on it... I think you'd retract that statement (if you had any common sense). If he breaks his nose another time, he'll be advised to use a Richard Hamilton face mask, but I doubt he'll consent to that. Seriously though, the guy is anything but a pussy.

Vince carter has got to be the worst passer in the nba. He is the queen of throwing the ball 3 feet right of you and then blaming someone for blowing his assist.

There isn't a player in the league I'd like to play with less. Kobe is a cockface mongrel but at least he doesn't suck

This is where it hurts Orlando to not have the guy that wants the shot down the stretch. You know Pierce and Allen will take any shot at any time. Who do the Magic have to want that shot with Turkoglu gone? VC? Yeah right. Lewis? Nope. Howard? Way too limited offensively.

Fucking Pierce...

Those guys have been missing open shots for the past two years and in the first round of the playoffs (fisher/artest/farmar/brown were horrible in the OKC series).

And kudos to the magic for not completely choking, although they tried to give this one away. I don't like the Magic, but I like the Celtics less...although I love Ray Allen. So I just want to see the series extended as long as possible. I don't think the Magic have any chance...unless this game somehow gives them confidence and Rashard Lewis actually starts to play like he belongs in the NBA.

Nash is the biggest pus on the planet. He flops harder than Greg Paulus. Question. If Nash is such a bad ass - how come he doesnt wear an arm sleeve? Doesnt he know that the unwritten rule of the NBA states that every teams best and most marketable player must wear an arm sleeve, headband, or some sort of NBA avatar. Fucking retard. And dont anybody talk about how stupid Big Baby looks. Nash looks like an emo skater with down syndrome.

Nice to see the Magic decided to show up. I will admit the end of regulation showed grit on both teams. Pierce had a filthy jam, Allen's 3s, etc. but both teams folded in overtime. They need to take notes tomorrow night on how to snatch a game when it hangs in the balance from the Black Mamba.
