I would lose my scholarship if my husband claimed me for this semester (my last semester) and I would have to pay back the roughly $18k I've gotten so far. It was my parents idea, and my husband hates it but he'd rather do this for 6 months then pay back the money.

It kills me that my parents can still dangle this shit above my head. They love power trips and controlling their only successful child (while FULLY supporting their delinquent other three, all over age 18) is okay.

plus we live apart since he's in the military, so it's not like we're living together and my parents are paying for everything. The only things they've ever paid for is my phone and my car insurance.
