UMD played good defense, but our offense looked awful. Just indecisive and intimidated the whole night.

I think we all expected a couple loses like this, but holy shit ... that one was ugly.

We covered the spread, so we did a pretty decent job tonight of exceeding expectations.

Should've gone zone earlier and should've not wasted so many possessions forcing it inside when it was clear it wouldn't work. We got back in the game with perimeter shooting.


Also, for those of you saying Zo should take that last shot he's not a great jump shooter and it's really risky to have him drive to the basket there and potentially give up a fast break going the other way if he misses.

Personally, i'd have them clear out and then have purvis rotate back to cover him while wood stands in the corner for the dish if zo can't take his man. But it's definitely risky.

We got a "good" shot but Wood didn't put up a good shot he kinda choked on it.

I'd like to blame CJ Leslie for coming over to block the shot at the end leaving Len wide open for the rebound(he has a tendency to do that and prolly 90% of the time, it ends up in points for the other team), but I can't. The offense was so terrible in the first half and in the last minute and a half, I can't even be mad at that one play. Seriously, we went to Scott Wood like 4 times in the last two minutes. No CJ Leslie, once to Lorenzo, once to Howell(really? against a 7 footer?) and that was it. Coaching was terrible. The playing was horrible, but the coaching was absolutely shat.
