Lol, no one outside of whacky right wing conspiracists think she is a horrible person. She has clearly done a lot of great things for a wide variety of people and institutions.

That is not mutually exclusive from believing she has also not trustworthy or possibly corrupted.

You don't have to believe in all of the conspiracy theories to believe that her Democratic ideology isn't going to line up with your Republican ideology.

I don't believe hardly any of the junk that is out there, yet I still don't want her to run the country. So does that make me a whacky right-wing conservative?

I mean I have never supported a democrat and I dont support Hillary, but if it seems like Trump has a chance to win I may be forced to have to vote for her just to keep Trump out. One thing that has happened this election is I continue to questions whether I fall more on the democrat than Republican side of things these days. I mean from a government perspective I generally support Republican ideology but man when it comes to all the religious factors and social aspects that come along with that I think to myself hey maybe I am a democrat I dont really know anymore.

On the new Weiner thing.

Trump isn't going to miss a beat. It's a shame really, that the dissolution of one's marriage gets used for political gain. And besides, it isn't even like he's naked in the texts. Although one does have his little boy beside him.

Quote :
""I only worry for the country in that Hillary Clinton was careless and negligent in allowing Weiner to have such close proximity to highly classified information," Trump said in a statement. "Who knows what he learned and who he told? It's just another example of Hillary Clinton's bad judgment." "

He's such an idiot. If he cared for his wife or for Clinton at all, he'd keep his texts to himself.

At the very least, he could have waited until after the election, given his short degree of separation from a presidential candidate. Stupid.

I see some normalizing of Trump's comments and behavior ITT.

Let's get one thing straight. Weiner's actions have absolutely zero to do with Clinton or national security. Zero.

Fair enough. But your phrasing about "if he cared... about Clinton" makes it seem like you are trying to normalize Trump's take on it.

Wow you're really reading waay too much in to these posts. Me saying that Weiner is a twat has no bearing on "normalizing" Trump's comments about the situation. God I hate that word. "Normalizing."

I don't think the Weiner thing has any legs. He's always been a creeper, he's not connected with the Hillary campaign.

If Trump tries to push the issue, he has Ailes and Bannon, both people Trump hand-picked, to deal with, who have worse pasts than Weiner.

Except you're the one who brought this stupid fodder to this thread, and twice implied that it was bad for Hillary.

If actually just want to point out ridiculous shit Trump says, put it in the Trump thread.

that the potential of PTSD for a guy who was a POW for 5 1/2 years and tried to commit suicide multiple times is equivalent in your mind to whether or not we hear a pop on a jar of pickles because she fainted once is interesting

I never said anything about the stupid pickle stunt. Clinton and Mccain are both old as fuck so naturally a smear campaign would ask if they had health issues, combine the cases where the leftist media has fired/silenced people raising questions, its suspect. My critique is more of the biased media censorship.

Just out of curiosity, are there any websites that would be right-of-center that you folks find credible? I ask because Drudge always links to a lot of them, sites like "The Nation," "Washington Examiner," "The Hill," etc.

We're talking about Infowars here, which isn't right-of-center. It's off the scale crazy.

The Nation isn't right-leaning. They endorsed Bernie for president and print Noam Chomsky articles.

[Edited on August 30, 2016 at 9:46 PM. Reason : the other two could very well be credible. just bc they might be right of center doesn't automatically disqualify them ]

Media bias!!!

http://www.vox.com/2015/7/6/8900143/hillary-clinton-reporting-rules

Quote :
"As a reporter, I get sucked into playing by the Clinton rules. This is what I've seen in my colleagues, and in myself.

1) Everything, no matter how ludicrous-sounding, is worthy of a full investigation by federal agencies, Congress, the "vast right-wing conspiracy," and mainstream media outlets

..

2) Every allegation, no matter how ludicrous, is believable until it can be proven completely and utterly false. And even then, it keeps a life of its own in the conservative media world.

..

3) The media assumes that Clinton is acting in bad faith until there's hard evidence otherwise.

..

4) Everything is newsworthy because the Clintons are the equivalent of America's royal family

..

5) Everything she does is fake and calculated for maximum political benefit"

Now this was posted back in July ..... 2015. Every word of it has been proven true since then.

Vox is turning out to be a pretty partisan place and it makes me a bit uncomfortable quoting it... but I did see a link to an interesting article about Colin Powell's foundation while he was with the State Dept.

It's actually pretty similar conditions to Clinton (AT&T donations while his son was head of FCC, etc)...

That said, I've never once thought the Foundation stuff is a scandal while I do think she showed not only a lack of good judgment but also deliberately tried to mislead with the email server..
