that assumes Brown comes back within the next week

if not, we'll just have to crack some skulls in the ACC tourney, because at full strength, ie Brown 100% healthy, we are a top team in the conference

Losing hurts, but this one hurts less than any of our losses, aside from maybe Michigan. Showed some grit to make it respectable - very similar to UNC against us (but state fans still bitched about that about letting them back into it - I guess Coach K and Gott should both be fired)

This loss, like all the others, has been disappointing. i want NCSU to do good. I really do. We all do. Fuck, we've been waiting for glory forever now. In my opinion, NCSU is the ultimate underdog school. It's shitty to think about how in all 4 of our previous losses 2 baskets at most per game would have been all the difference. 8 baskets away from being probable shoe-ins for the NCAA and ACC. But, as it is with NCSU, that's just the way the turd fucking falls. If this season doesn't pan out for the rest of our schedule or, should be make it, the tourney, then I hope we can at least learn something from our mistakes. I know our team is good and could go places; when they play at their highest potential it's very exciting to think of the possibilities. I just wish we were a little more consistent when it comes to showing up.

Humor me here for a second...

But was there a rule change where in the past, Wood would have been shooting free throws after Sulaimon pushed off of him in the final minutes? I know charges and push-off (with the ball) don't result in free throws...but I thought off the ball fouls (even on the offensive side) let you go to the foul line in the past (when in the bonus of course).

I swear I've always made it a point to figure this out in the past...and I was sure he was going to go to the line.

In the video I saw/heard, it sounded like "past your bedtime" before and during the first free throw...and could have been "how's your grandma" after and the first free throw and during the second.
