with AZ bye week, I need a defense. there's SD (vs CHI) or NO (vs TEN). dropping Keenan to pick up one of these for a one-week fix. which defense has a better chance this week?

SD has been statistically one of the worst defenses in the league all year....why in the world would you consider picking them up? Cutler will throw a couple of picks, but they still have weapons, he'll end up with a couple of TDs at least.

because the Bears will have zero running game and it'll force Cuddles to throw 40 times, 5 of which could be picked, and 1 of which could be returned for a TD

Forte wasn't the only running back on the team, and the Chargers have the worst run D in the league.

I have Andrew Luck, but am hesitant to start him this week for obvious reasons. Which of the available free agent options seems best?

Mariota @ NO
Winston vs NYG
Cutler @ SD

I'm leaning Cutler, but am considering Winston also. I'm a bit scared of Mariota coming off the injury even though the match-up is nice.

SD is a terrible defense. Both in real life and fantasy. No one should be starting them, ever.

There's a reason Rivers and the offense are on a record setting pace, it's the only way they can stay in games.

I think Langford is going to have a solid week against the Chargers D. Not Forte good, but he'll be a solid RB2 this week in most fantasy formats.

Need Some RB/Flex Help:

Hillman vs. Ind
L. Murray vs. Pit
Freeman vs. SF
Langford vs. SD

Pretty set on Freeman and Hillman, but not really sure between Langford or Murray. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

^ depends on how you want to play. Do you need high upside or higher floor based on your matchup? I.e., your opponent is playing his bench because of byes so you want floor, or his players have very favorable matchups and you have byes so you want ceiling. Higher floor is Murray because you know what to expect. Upside is Langford because of the matchup.

If it was me I'd play Langford.

Should I play Duke Johnson (tonight @ CIN) or Antonio Andrews (@NO) as my RB2? it's a PPR obviously, or Duke wouldn't even be rostered.

have you people ever watched a Bears game? Langford is terrible. Start him at your own risk. He'll maybe get 40 yards rushing and 20 yards receiving with zero touchdowns. quote me on that later

Got offered Jimmy Graham for Allen Hurns in a PPR league.

Got M. Bryant, Jeffery, Cooper, and VJax as other WRs & have Kelce and Clay for TEs (Clay is my bye week replacement for Kelce).

^^LOL, who would you start over him?

^I didn't, just countered with Hurns/Clay/Karlos Williams to see if I could get Gates/Gordon, but it unsurprisingly got rejected

I thought for a second about starting Jordan Reed over Eifert this week, but I don't ever like starting a teams best offensive player against the patriots, so I didn't.

does anybody only own one QB? Ive always kept two, in my 10 years of fantasy, just in case.

I currently have Rodgers and Ryan. Thinking about dropping Ryan because I don't see myself ever starting him again (now that Aaron's bye week is gone). Also I'm paranoid and I don't want anybody else to have Ryan (#8 QB in my league)

I only have Brady. If you have somebody like Brady or Rodgers or Peyton (up until a year or two ago) I dunno why you'd use a roster spot on somebody who will only play on a bye week.

Obviously if you wait until late and draft like Eli/Big Ben or Ryan/Stafford or something you might play matchups, but not when you use your 2nd round pick on Rodgers

I drafted Gronk in the first round. Picked up Richard Rodgers for one week on his bye. Not gonna hang onto 2 TEs either when I can instead use those spots for WR/RB depth

What's wrong with playing a TE in the flex? I've started doing that with Olsen and Gates.

nothing if your league setup lets you play a TE at the flex. mine is only RB or WR. point being, if you have an elite player at a position that you can only play one of, it doesn't make much sense to carry more than one on your roster all year.

Ah ok. I thought you were implying TE's average less or something. Don't know how different leagues work

[Edited on November 6, 2015 at 9:06 PM. Reason : I'm hoping Ryan has another good week against SF and I'll try to trade him.]

Ok the advice ive gotten from this thread has really helped me so far this season. Here's another Quandry:

who do i start alongside Todd Gurley this week? Pick TWO:

1. D'angelo Williams vs Oak
2. Jon Stewart vs GB
3. Chris Ivory vs Jags

Oakland D has been pretty stout against run, and basically shut down ivory last week.
Greenbay D has been up and down this year, but overall has been pretty bad against the run.
Jags D has also been pretty darn mediocre against the run.

I would definitely start ivory.

I would probably start Williams because Roethlisberger is back.

[Edited on November 7, 2015 at 12:40 PM. Reason : And I personally hate Stewart and will never start him ever.]

Eric Decker (knee) is active Sunday against the Jaguars.

Decker has been dealing with the knee issue for much of the season, but he was never expected to miss Sunday's game. Wideout Brandon Marshall was questionable due to toe and ankle issues, and while he is active, Decker could get a few more looks if Marshall is limited.

I'm bout to get crushed by eleusis--possibly my worst loss of the season.

I don't even know how I was at .500 in the first place, but I don't anticipate winning another match-up.

So it's bitter shit-talking time.

Dang...subbed out Gore for Tavon Austin at the last minute. Now I need 8 points from Woodhead tonight for the win. 8 points also happens to be exactly how many more points Gore scored than Austin...

Not very confident...Last second changes hardly ever work out :-(

Thankfully didn't make that trade.

Unfortunately I dropped DeAngelo the week that Bell went down.

With that said...any good pickups this week on the Waiver wire?
