The picture that I refered to initially was pretty cut and dry, as would be 99% of all pictures. You can play the "what if" game all you want, and I'm sure you could come up with a few examples where pictures may or may not be deemed appropriate. To answer your specific question, however, I would say that picture would be appropriate in a thread about classical artwork, but not in a thread about politics. But basically, you could always stick to the thumbrule, "If I was at work on the first day of my first real job at some big company, would I feel comfortable using this as my screen saver?" Odds are, anyone who is dumb enough to post the blowjob silhoutte on their first day probably won't be around very long.

I know some people are getting on here claiming this is a minority that feels this way, but I really don't think it is. I think there is a very large chunk of people who feel the exact same way, but for reasons I outlined before, choose not to post or who have already left this site completly. And of course, the people who have already posted against it are mostly people who feel that their childish "freedom to post" is threatened.

My very favorite argument on here is that I'm whining. Isn't that waht a Feedback Forum is for? Petitioning for a change? Are people in another thread whining because we don't have TWW T-shirts? Or are they whining because the Book Exchange sucks ass? No, they are simply suggesting improvements that would make the site better.

This would do nothing but improve the site. Regardless of what jackleg or packguy381 might say, they are not going to drop their premium membership status because a rule is implemented that says they have to show a little bit of couthe in the Soap Box. This place is really their whole life. They are on here posting all the time. I might log on once a twice a day for 20 minutes, but I really do believe they would suffer some kind of breakdown if they didn't have the Wolf Web. So really, you'd have the same number of people retain their premium status and many more people buying a new one. But I'm sure the owners are satisfied with the huge profits they are already turning now, so I suppose it's just a moot point.

simply change the font color or post some kind of icon (such as ) next to the title of the thread, indicating that there's a sexually-oriented pic or photo. that way, whoever doesn't want to see offensive pics under a what seems to be sexually-unrelated topic can stay away from that thread, just like staying away from a thread that says "pr0n". and whoever wants to put nude pics or other sexually oriented images can do so whever they please, as usual.

i know it would require a large revamp of the website, but why not simply whenever a thread is being created, let the creater of the thread decide whether or not pics can be posted. and if the person making the thread decides to have pics, then just put a lil icon next to the thread title so you can avoid, or at least be aware, these threads while at work or in labs

Here is the END ALL ANSWER FOR YOU FOOLS.

This would take 10 minutes for Jake or Joe to implement.

Make a setting in your "SETTINGS" part of the site that DISABLES images. Now if they wanted to get more indepth with it, there could be a photo gallery mod who could "Approve" images, then those images would be allowed through the filter.

But even without that part, disabling pictures from showing up in posts would be extremely simple.
