yeah this is def cheaper than a new r6, but the 05 r6 is a nice bike with increased power from 04 model

To gauge interest b/c my car's in need of some $ and attention:

2002 Honda RC51 (sp2)
4,000 miles
Well maintained
New rear tire(last years battlaxe) sp?
Inspected within 2 mo. ago, when i got the new tire and sprocket mounted/installed

only mod is a professionally installed front sprocket(1 down from stock, greatly improved street/city driving)

Immaculate--no joke, I just detailed it last weekend to store for winter, still looks brand spankin nw except for a couple of the usual burn marks on the exhaust where the pipes meet the mufflers from my boots and shit getting burnt off, and where it burned the fuck out of my leg. Not a single scratch, I've seen new bikes on the showroom with more blemishes! This bike looks 10x better than any of the used RC51's I found when I was looking for one last spring, and is still lower miles than most. Nothing but the tires have ever touched the ground (the detective i bought it from had already removed the longest production peg sliders/feelers ever made).

If someone makes me an offer I can't refuse, I won't!!

most people that actually have the cash here will go for a brand new bike (or close to it) like pwrstrkdf250
everybody else expect to see the time when a new r-1 comes along for a grand or two and even then they have to call up their parents or girlriends and beg for cash
although i did see an unreal deal on 2004 (!!!) buell xb9s for like $2500 in cycletrader. this typa shit comes along once every year or two if its not a scam, but even then you can wait till someone posts it on TWW and then try to negociate it down even more.
I am STILL getting calls about the ex500 i sold, even though it was out of the paper for like two weeks now. It was on TWW for two or thre weeks and didnt sell even for a grand; after i put it in tha paper i sold it for $1100 the first day to the first customer who paid cash in full on the spot grinnin from ear to ear.
i will keep postin all the decent deals that i'll come across in this thread tho, cause ive got a fetish for motorcycle classifieds or somethin
that 93 zx6 is a great deal too in my opinion, and im sure it sounds good as hell with that V&H pipe. Some might not like the ext swingarm but thats a quick fix. its pimping the way it is considering the guy only wants 2 grand for it

the only ppl on tww that actually buys nice new/semi new bikes are the ppl who are either on the garage site, since most of them aren't cheap basturds and aren't stupid (cept for me of course), or they have either completed or about to complete their schooling at state, and with co-ops or an actual job, they should be able to afford it.

i finally started working on my bike now that exams are done

I almost got it completely disassembled, workin on bikes is much faster then working on cars, plus now that heavy ass beotch weighs like 100 pounds less.

I'm probably going to be in the market for a bike. Would like it to be closer to $1,000 but I may be able to stretch it a little further.

This would be my first bike, rode a little when I was younger, but not much. My Trooper looks like it's going to need some work (haven't gotten to a shop yet to see what's wrong yet), but I figure this is a sign since it's about 12 years old.
