that's all good and well but he was just too damn cocky ALL the time...it would have been nice to see him get knocked down not trying to be mean or anything 8/1/2005 11:28:19 PM |

i'd like to be brad pitts wife, too.
ralph should have won, he was so much more likeable and cooked damned well. michael jsut seemed crude. i also thought for sure that since michael is going with gordon to london that the restaurant would be given to ralph. oh well.
this show had moderate production value, too. 8/2/2005 12:25:09 AM |

Ralphs style of cooking wasn't as bold or creative as Michaels.

It seems like the decision for Michael to keep the restaurant or to work with Ramsey was forced upon him. I hope he doesn't regret it later. 8/2/2005 10:43:47 AM |

made me go
Also as a stats major, the "chance of coming back" thing probably shouldn't have been the deciding factor, considering the biased sample and only 4% difference.8/2/2005 12:50:56 PM |

What I didn't get was why the two plates Micheal's team had sent back to them didn't come into consideration (or wasn't discussed, anyway). One customer found some sort of plastic in their food, and another complained about his meat. It makes me seriously doubt the validity of those percentages. I thought that Ralph was much more successful as head chef (especially considering his team). But it doesn't bother me much that Micheal won -- apparently his food is good enough to cover for his other shortcomings. 8/2/2005 1:55:57 PM |

Ramsey knew he who had cooking behind him...idiots. Wasn't Mikes fault.
If any of you think Ralph should have won, then you lack any culinary expertise/knowledge/etc. His dishes were not exciting at all. They sucked, anyone can cook a good steak.8/2/2005 4:19:55 PM |
