do any of yall use machines? i found a way to make them very effective, but what do you do once you run out of weights on the machine

is it simple to just switch to free weights of the same exercise?

i workout in a club wher all the trainers are fucking personal training other people

plus i like to isolate the muscle im working since i do enough exercises to work all my groups

i think i only do like 2 free weight exercises, bout 5 orr 6 hammer strength types (semi free weight) and about 6 or 7 machine exercises

because most of the people that go there, honestly dont know how to spot and kinda negate the workout

^haha im not close to the end of those weights yet, but as far as the leg machines im abotu there

you become innovative and find a way to add more weight using free weights... usually you can get up to a 25 lb plate hanging from the pin if you are good, depending on space restrictions maybe even 35, that is all

the new shoulder routine is working well.

The only machine I use in my workout is the leg press, leg curls, and leg extensions machines. I only use them after I've done squats until my back is sore. Since I deadlift twice a week, I'm thinking about dropping deep squats altogether and only doing box squats and the leg press machine for my quad workout, and working hamstrings and glutes with the lower back on deadlift day.

Occasionally I'll finish off biceps on cables, but only after doing 6-8 sets with free weights in some form or fashion.

yeah im kind of the opposite. i dont frequent the leg machines because i run everyday almost and play some basketball. but i do legs maybe once a week or so.

floating on your back hardly counts....

right now i could probably pull a 7-8 min mile... i could probably do it faster but i wouldnt like how i felt afterwards very much.....

could probably swim a few miles too, I'd sleep very hard after that.... my 25 sprint time is still too high....

I'm a big fan of the bike. I usually do about 8-10 miles on the bike after I lift in the evenings, except on leg days, then I usually do about 5. This is following the dreaded morning swim.

I'm going to max out my triple lift this week if I can find competent people to spot me. At least I won't need a spot for deadlifting.

NEVER SKIP A SQUAT WORK OUT

youll pay for it dearly when you resume

I skipped out on squatting for a few weeks once only to find myself incapable of bending my knees for 4 days upon resuming my normal routine.

Then again, it probably would have been worse had I continued squatting on the ketogenic diet I was on. My squat routine about makes me lose my lunch as it is, but it gets 10 times worse when I'm carb and glycogen depleted.
