^their run of the mill cars do, but the aftermarket for vw is much stronger than for a camry, accord, maxima and such. 7/3/2005 11:28:34 PM |

well i would like to fool the head unit to think that there is a cd changer connected and then just wire up a RCA to 1/8" jack cable for the ipod
everything i found requries a $60 unit
i remember a thread on tdub where someone wired it up with nothing to fool the head unit
so i searched and didnt find what what i want
i could have just made this up in my head though 7/4/2005 3:31:00 PM |

I am a VW owner as of 8/30/05!! Traded my mustang in and got an '02 2.0L GLS 4-Door with the 5 speed manual. It's not the fastest car but it's a crap load of fun to drive and I get so much more distance out of a tank of gas!
I don't really want to make many changes to the car. The only thing I am considering are some new wheels and new pedals. What is the best site for a good deal on after market stuff?
Oh yeah I will post a pic soon.
