It hasnt been cancelled effective immediately like most shows that get canned....it will finish the fifth season, so hopefully the producers can wrap it up fairly respectably. Good move though....the show is well past its prime and its time to just end it before it ends up in X-Files Season 9 territory.

production focus went from Alias to LOST

even though Alias is the superior show with the superior format

they could do the show with the same formula for another 2 seasons and it wouldn't piss me off even half as much as LOST does

LOST is a big overhyped cash cow

It'll probably be around for at least 5 seasons, but at the end of the day I don't think it'll be "better" than Alias was

Fuck ABC and their damn next episode teasers...so much for anything remotely shocking in the next episode. And yeah I know I shouldnt watch the teaser, but between Boston Legal, Lost, and Greys Anatomy, theres absolutely no way to avoid seeing it over the next week anyhow, so why bother.

Her mom was looking for one of the cells/contacts that used to be connected to SD-6 that was in the top right corner of the SD-6 map that Vaughn showed Sydney in the bloodmobile

They were torturing Sydney so Sydney would tell them the specific name of the location or person or whatever it was they were looking for

Sydney figured out what they were trying to do to her and she gave them the wrong name

and then she freed herself and found out she was on a big oil tanker in the middle of the ocean

Honestly, they need to kill off all the new characters and just go with the old. Its so much better when the story line focuses on the old guys, spy stuff, and especially torture.

I watched the entire episode.

It was funny, If you watched close, once Sydney was on the plane with the new baby, it was WEEKS after she had the baby in real life, she was about 25 lbs lighter and her hair had changed colors.

overall, great episode. It reminded me of the hayday years of Alias (seasons 1 & 2).

I think somehow this Horizon stuff will go back to Rambaldi.

And what in the hell is Tom up to? Who is the Cardinal?

oh, and Marshall was hilarious...."I forgot to hit enter!"

ABC sucks...their promo that ran earlier in the week teased Vaughn coming back...it was one thing when they did it last year and he only came back in flashbacks, but to tease it when he doesnt show up until the last second of the show? Theres a reason he wasnt credited until the end credits, ABC. One day Ill learn to stop watching those things.

Also heard they are going back to the cliff-hanger endings for the rest of the series....good to hear. Hopefully this show can come close to being as good when it ends as it was when it began.

the part that sucks is this season only has 18 toaly episodes instead of 20-something

There were two serious plot errors that made me a bit angry at the end of the episode.

1) There is NO WAY that Jack would assume that explosion had killed Peyton. NONE. The Jack who has been in the entire series would have gone over and put another two bullets in her head. Him "assuming" she's dead was just completely out of character, and of course, she's not dead.

2) Don't tell me that Sydney's baby was breach, and then two minutes later everything was fine.

I still loved the episode, but it would have been perfect if they had fixed the two things - which I expect from these writers. They took about a year and a half off, but it appears that they're gonna try to get the job done right in these last 7 episodes.

^ The latter. Actually, it was supposed to be a 2-month hiatus, but ABC postponed the rest of the episodes so that it could go out with consecutive episodes. They only signed on for 16 episodes this season, so they had 9 in the fall and 7 in the spring (2 back-to-back this week, and 2 hours for the finale).

Ohhh okay Charlie, thanks I had missed that part of the scene. I want to see how it plays out though... I think they've done a good job at returning to the shows roots and trying to close off the Rambaldi ordeal, plus the fact that now Anna Espinoza can be the chosen one... The show might still redeem itself.
