Yeah not much action in this one, but still good overall...some Qs were answered like the mom finally ditched alcohol and came home (cept that crazy lezbo's gonna follow her home probly)

The Dean is just way dumb...he's doing things that are outright illegal now, which is really retarded that the kids don't react like "haaaaaaaaaaahahhaha you're a dumb mofo" instead of going along with it.

Summary....let's see: In no particular order:

Mom comes to hear Caleb's will against Charlotte's wishes, finds out Caleb was BROKE, so nobody gets anything from it. This forces Marissa's father to face the music and when he can't pay up the debts he gets ROYALLY beaten down. So he then hops on his boat all busted up and leaves Marissa and his new wife-to-be out for dry with a "goodbye" pretty much. Kinda sad.

Ryan gets a tiki hut setup on the sand (btw, the hut belonged to the school's art/drama dept) and the night before their family is planning on "moving away forever to Kuwai", they go to the hut and we're led to believe they did the deed. Of course that moving to Kuwai doesn't happen, lol.

That hut is returned to the school by Seth who's busted by the Dean for stealing school property and takes 2 months detention (lol) as punishment as the Dean tries to blackmale him or some nonsense.

Sandy's wife resisted alcohol, came home, her kids are happy, BUT that Charlotte chick gets booted from that home and makes us believes she's headed to Sandy's house to stay awhile. Maybe she'll get HIT BY A BUS and get off the show.

Marissa's folks were planning on boating there and starting a "new life" since Marissa got booted from school. The underlying reason was to avoid having to pay up all that debt. It backfired, now the hubby's leaving anyway, Marissa's pissed and never wants to see him again 'cause he's a lowlife (but she's staying in Newport), and the wifey gets everything repossed (well, the repo part is hinted at for next episode).

this last episode was pretty boring
except i had a really hard time watching jimmy get beat up, i thought it was very violent for regular television

Brief summary of last night:

Marissa's new school has bullies and everyone knows she shot someone, so she can't escape her past. 3 ppl befriend her, including a dude "Johnny" who has a g/f. However, there seems to some underlying "thing" between Johnny and Marissa. Marissa starts blowing off Ryan's gestures to be together (but not really to hurt him) trying to make new friends...Ryan shows up at bad times (like when Marissa's crying and Johnny's comforting her) and starts to feel like he's losing Marissa.

He makes the statement to Sandy that he wants to not homeschool, but to join Marissa's public school. Sandy quickly talks him out of it. Summer is planning this phat dance at Harbour and Taylor comes to her and is like "I wanna change and be nice to ppl" and Summer believes it, and then Taylor is like "If you don't tell the Dean you helped steal the tikihut, your b/f is gonna get suspended!" So Summer goes to the Dean, admits to it, and finds out Taylor lied so now Summer gets the shaft and Taylor takes over as "Social Chair". Biotch.

Charlotte meets Sandy's wife (name escapes me...) for lunch and wants her to "invest a few million" into a home for those leaving rehab but not quite ready for real life again...his wife scoffs and is like "no way, I don't have that much texa$" Come to find out, Charlotte and her MAN got Charlotte into rehab to take advantage of one specific loaded woman so she could exploit her for money. She says to her man that she'll keep trying til she gets money.

Ryan and Marissa kinda make up at the end for all the "blowing off" that went on, so we are lead to believe things are gravy. However, I bet this Johnny kid, who honestly had no ill intentions and seems to really dig his own g/f, is gonna cause issues. The "Newport Group", previously owned by Caleb, is officially sold off for cash to help Sandy's family get back outta debt that the company has built up over the years. Julie comes looking for a loan since her house got repossesed from the Newport Group only to find it's no longer in business, so she now has no way to get money to restart her life (hint: both Charlotte and Julie want money from Sandy's family...they'll probably cross paths later on). I think that's about it

EDIT: Ooops, forgot: The dean was seen (by Summer peeking) kissing Taylor behind the scenes at the dance. Ooooooooooooooooh snap
