I don't think you're crazy. I just think you are putting too much importance in one game. Ga Tech is overrated and based on WVUs games against Maryland and Syracuse (who took UVa to the wire) I would be willing to bet they were looking ahead.

38-10 is a type of score that you don't see often in rivalry games like this. Especially against a team who hasn't given up more then 15 points this year and is know for being a running, ball control team.

I think this is a 21-17 type of game. Honestly I PRAY that WVU wins but I think VT will win by 3 or 4..

OK, so I was a little off with 38-10. Either way though, VT dominated that game from the opening kickoff. WVU threatened them in the 2nd quarter and instead of folding like some of you thought, VT came out in the second half and put the game away. If this team is going to be threatened this season, it'll have to be Miami or FSU. I don't see too many ACC teams with the talent to keep up with them for 60 minutes.

I can't blame Vick for flicking off the Mountaineer crowd. I mean, I'd be hostile too if someone threw D-cell batteries at me. Not that they necessarilly did that to him, but that's just one of the many things WVU fans have been known to do at games in the past. That along with throwing zip-lock bags of urine at opposing teams' fans. And lets not forget the ever popular burning of everything in sight after a game (regardless of win or loss, or even whether it was a home or away game).

Vick looked like a cunt on saturday. I don't give a shit if he flicked off the crowd...thats excusable. What is not excusable is him running out of bounds, then cutting back into the defender just to throw an elbow. If you are a running back, this is ok, but since the defender can not hit you when you are out of bounds, and QB's are expected to run out of bounds to avoid contact, this just made him look like a jackass. There were a few other plays where he got up and got in the defenders face after a run. I was starting to change my opinion of him since he has been pretty classy in the first few games, but after watching this, im right back to thinking of him as a child molester.

as efficient and ridiculously easy VT moved the ball last night against a good BC defense they should have no problem with WVU. Whether you like him or not, Marcus Vick is a much better qb than Mike was and is so composed. Even against our fired up D he managed to control the game and be mistake free. VT wins this game by 2 touchdowns. Only way WVU wins is if VT turns the ball over 3 times. Plus, that score could've easily been 40-10 if VT didn't fumble on the 5 yardline and miss that short field goal.
