^^^,^I had CRC errors on the first copy that I bought, so I exchanged it for another and it installed fine. I haven't had any issues since.

nope, didn't try reinstalling....I installed 3 different versions of nvidia drivers for the 7800gtx and non of them helped. On tech-support site they said turn down the rendering for your audio which is funny cause you can't.

The funniest thing is they were sponsored by ATI (notice the splash advert at launch), and everyone on the forums who is complaining about video crashes is running Nvidia.

^ This one doesn't seem to get old as fast for me. Maybe it's because everything is a lot better done.

I'm able to select what kind of god I want to be more effectively, and know what kind of repercussions I'll get if I stray. Like if I play a good god, and I want to send an army in anyway, I'll only lose about 7% of my "goodness." The old game was pretty much a toss-up as to what would happen, and a lot of incidental things fucked you over.

the EASIEST defense by far is to keep one of those huge rocks nearby, and as soon as the enemy comes to your gates just drop the rock on top of them. it kills all of them instantly and you don't lose any troops (they dont gain experience, but oh well).

pretty fun, runs a lil choppy on my comp but not terrible. guess my vid card is showing some age (ti4200). pretty fun so far though, lot less frustrating than the original. sux that my evilness takes such a hit when i make a decent town.

I just got to the last level, I've taken over every single town by influence. The second to last level I didn't even hardly have to try. My creature is so awesome that he takes care of all the town needs and still kicks the shit out of enemy troops. This last level looks like it might actually be a challenge though...

well i officially am annoyed with this game and im just on the japs. i do alright in the beginning but (including last time) have a hard time taking the last town. i just never seem to have enough men to make armies with at any given time. i've had a huge army but then they get beat up/die and then i cant make any progress for what seems like hours.

basicallyt he japanese just sit in the last town with 10 big platoons and i jerk off. can kill them all in about 10 seconds with fire miracles and creatures but they build it back in about 2 seconds.

it just seems more frustrating than anything, my creature and i are both 100% evil and we are bleh with it all. perhaps ill try doing a good god so i can focus on city building and defense, that might be more interesting than jerking off for hours waiting on my population.

I just send in the creature against the enemy with a big squad of archers for backup. I let my archers take out their archers, and have the creature attack everything else. It doesnt hurt to purchase creature miracles and upgraded soldier. You can make the creature throw fireballs from range at things by teaching him to attack something and then leashing him just far enough from it that he cant touch it.

yeah i got upgraded soldier, but the japs just have so many archers that his health just plummits. fireball woulda been a good idea, dont know why i didnt think of that since that was my cows MO in b+w1.

none the less, i seem to be enjoying being good better. i think my problem stemmed from me rushing. id end up with no men cuz id make armies that were too big for my city and then id have 0 men left to breed. ill take my time next time around if im evil.

ARRGHHh

i'm on the 2nd to last world... the one with the two japanese brothers teaming up to make a last stand. they get earthquake, and cast it about once every 45 minutes. the first two didn't do anything, but the 3rd went straight through my town and demolished 3 of my 4 ampitheatres (best ore-to-impressiveness building). i just shut off the game. i don't know if i'll ever try again.

when i was pissed off i almost tried to sell it on ebay/half.com until i saw how cheap it was going for. i only have beaten the norse now (been playing ninja gaiden), but good is far more fun.

well i beat the second to last mission in record time, but then the game crashed (while saving) and does everytime i start the game now...talk about a pisser. probably gonna sell it for the pennies i can get. i enjoy it, but it almost seems like a chore sometimes.

Troubleshoot it and at the support forums. Theres a fix. The last level is probably the best.
