i had two tickets and in both cases, the judge asked the officer about my attitude. one of tickets cost me only $20 despite having no lawyer and being 18 over.

on a related note, i ALWAYS apologize because it doesnt cost me shit and it will only work in your favor. you dont have to brown nose, but being courteous can only help you. cops can do a lot to make you miserable, or they can make it really painless, so at least for those 5-10 min pretend and act apologetic.

negative. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol can chase anyone no matter where they are. infact, whenever a city cop begins a chase a Trooper is usually called in to take the chase over because their juristiction isnt limited to the city but the whole state.

Well I dont know about other counties but in Wake county about 95% of the time the judge or the DA will ask me if the person was "polite and Cooperative ". Hell lawyers will ask me that because they can use that during their plea about getting a reduced sentence.

You're lucky he gave you so many warnings about sitting on the curb. I took 3 guys to jail last week from a traffic stop and it was all because they wouldn't shut their mouth after been told about 5 times to sit down, hush and stop hollaring at passing cars.

oh and like someone said dont EVER run from a trooper. You wont like it when they catch you....
