I liked the four original batman movies. I liked this one too, but for different reasons. instead of big name stars, dazzling big sets and ever more stupid looking batmobiles this one seemed a little more weighted with reality (well as far as one can with Batman)
Now if they can ever do something with James Bond......... 10/28/2005 8:23:39 AM |

BB was probably the best Batman movie, but I gotta give it up for Batman (part I)...that was an excellent movie in itself...the following Batman movies hurt its appeal.

I really like the way they portrayed the difference in Ra's Al Ghoul's philosophy toward crime and Bruce Wayne's.10/29/2005 4:57:51 PM |

you guys must be immature as hell to say batman begins is better then the original
the story from this movie is like a comic book made for 8 yr olds 12/4/2005 2:54:51 AM |

^its almost like some of us can detatch a movie from its supposed source materials
and can just appreciate it as being enjoyable
although, watching the "original" (i assume you meant the 80s version and not the 60s) i do kind of think it'd be a push... 12/4/2005 3:20:02 AM |

I liked how the microwave gun vaporized all the water in the pipes almost instantly, yet all the people standing around were just chillin'. Since when does our body not have huge amounts of water in it? Still a good movie though. 12/4/2005 8:13:57 AM |

^yea yea, that issue has been argued before... we don't know ALL the details about the device. maybe they designed it to only vaporize large amounts/pools of water... Originally it was built for the military to vaporize an enemy's water supply... if they were able to develop something that advanced, i'm sure they thought about the water in humans deal. 12/4/2005 9:19:59 AM |

They could have just made it to vaporize the enemy if it was going to affect people. So obviously they couldnt design it to do so.12/4/2005 12:51:30 PM |

ok then there is the answer. they tried to design it to kill people but it only works against large water supplies. 12/4/2005 2:27:35 PM |
