Everyone who is a fan going into a season, NO MATTER HOW BAD THEIR PARTICULAR TEAM IS, feels like they are gonna be better, over-achieve, win-the-big one that year (when everyone from the outside thinks it is crazy, hype, impossible) THAT IS THE FUCKING NATURE OF SPORTS, with your genius theorios the Patriots, Yankees, Lakers would be about the only pro teams left with fans after the last 80 years....

the definition of FAN, is being passionate about your team, we fill a 60,000 seat stadium every weekend in the fall with men, women, and children that are hoping that the pack wins, and we have beautiful athletic facilities, great tailgating, some of my greatest memories revolve around my undergrad years and sporting events....it is what bonds most of us on here, but not you, you are a vagabond, with no real college to route for, or pour emotion/blood/sweat/tears into....

your arguments are trivial, every team in the country thinks they are gonna be great that season, without this element, sports would not be as exciting as they are, with each new season brings new hopes...

one day I am sure you have hopes of getting a respectable college degree and a job that pays over 10 bucks an hour, to the rest of us on here that seems assinine and impossible, but you keep up the hope buddy, and we will keep up ours

Hell, people on here were talking about a national championship this year for NCSU. Hell, you won't win the ACC in the next decade, let alone even compete for a national championship. everyone on here was thinking we had a chance to beat VT, and we played them tough, everyone on here was thinking we had an outside shot at finishing first in the division, and hell we beat the team that just clinched first, so nobody can say that we "never had a chance" b/c we did, all but the clemson debacle we had chances to win games the whole year

we have had top 25 recruiting classes 3-4 years in a row, and I think most pack fans were routing for a year where the team was in the top 25, I really don't think anybody had realistic National Championship aspirations, just a solid season and a peach/gator bowl appearance. nobody can show me any facts that says that those type of goals were out of line for this team

your arguments are stupid, my sister graduated from UGA and i have been to about 10 games in Sanford stadium, and let me just say from all of Bulldog Nation, they wish you would not claim allegance to their wonderful university, their fans are as a whole too good for people like you, especially bandwagoners that never attended the university!
