Regardless of why any of us care about this, there's a word for O'reilly's comments. It's called rhetoric, boys and girls, and most of you are using it. The same as he did. This is dangerous, that is dangerous, I'm bad, you're bad, your mom's bad, whatever. Same with SanFran (which a live a couple hours away from). Do any of us live there? I can tell you that there's some crazyass people there. Same as anywhere else. Maybe different kind of crazy, but still, they got 'em all the same. Let people have their "I'm left wing, I'm better" "No, fuck you, I'm right wing, I'm better" stupidass pseudo-political dialogues that have nothing to do with what actually goes on. The people of San Francisco voted the way they did. O'Reilly responded with rhetoric that, while it may not be the most standup thing to say, he has the constitutionally protected right to use in said dialogue. Just as you and I are free to respond in whatever manner we choose, so long as we do not violate local, state and federal laws as we do so. Alright, calm the fuck down. 11/21/2005 7:38:20 PM |

i don't watch oreilly anymore because i'm tired of the "we're looking out for the kids" line. I hear it too much. I want to hear about political issues. As tragic as little kids being kidnapped is and as much as I salute Oreilly for getting that law passed in states for mandatory sentences for sex offenders, I watch his show to see political commentary. If I wanted to hear that other shit, I'd watch greta van susteren.
And, coming from the "typical TWW republican" I can say O'reilly's comments are off-base. It's no less than what pat robertson said on 9/12. I don't think anyone should more or less invite al qaeda to attack us. I don't care how queer or liberal or left of karl marx a city might be, it's ours. It's our shit hole. I hate the san franciscan culture, but not the people. As mixed up as they might be, they're still americans. 11/21/2005 7:55:36 PM |
