This year, Suzuki has the title. Look at the last 15 or 20 years. Look at even the last five years.
Duke, yeah the 999R is a 30K+ bike. I'm honestly not that familiar with the differences in the engine, but it does have full Ohlins suspension, forged magnesium wheels, and things of that nature. I think you will see Ferrari rebound in F1 and I think you will see Ducati rebound in WSB. If you guys want a friendly wager, I'm all for it I'm willing to say that both Ducati and Ferrari will have world championship titles within the next two seasons. Well, let me rephrase, it can be either constructers or riders/drivers championships. 11/21/2005 5:12:52 PM |

i like duc's ill root for them . i think the main point of owning one is the fact that not many other people have them and that's what makes them cool. 11/21/2005 5:16:20 PM |

^That and just look at them. No graphics to cover up the beautiful body work. The way the exhaust pipes parallel and come up beside the right side rear set, the trellis frame. In typical Italian style, the purpose of each piece was thought out and then they tried to make it as beautiful as possible while still allowing it to function at its best. The sound is also intoxicating, even from a stock exhaust. The aforementioned is what makes it so comparable to a Ferrari. There is a price for exclusivity, its just not as high in the motorcycle world as it is in the car world. 11/21/2005 5:49:59 PM |
