You know, just from reading this thread, I'm way more inclined to listen to the guy who has spent the better part of 3 years travelling the country taking thousands pictures of almost every single major metropolitan area and has several sites dedicated to that interest than I am to some 18 year old kid who's at NCSU majoring in Meteorology.
But, that's just me.

Winston has the second tallest building in the state, and a thirties-era art deco masterpiece, and that blue glass thing which draws the eye despite lack of height. It also has better spacing (since Raleigh's soon-to-be-three tall buildings are all clustered together and in a line).
