RallyDurham won't say anything about that pass, but he'll bitch about picks that weren't Vick's fault.

Nice argument there. Bulletproof. Really.

Well, I didn't see the pass because the game is over and I'm not watching it.

But you really need to understand that all INT's are not created equal.

If he throws an INT trying to make things happen when they are down 17 in the closing minutes it really doesn't matter.

If he throws an INT 40 yards downfield on 3rd and 13 when they desperately need to score, it really doesn't matter.

If he throws an INT when he's backed up to his own 10 yard line, then that matters.

If he pulls a Bledsoe and throws a game-losing INT with 10 seconds left in regulation at the 50 ayrd line, that matters.

If he pulls a Favre and throws an INT at the goaline in the closing seconds of the half and it results in a six point swing, that matters.

BY the way, Carson Palmer also threw two picks today.

But guess what?

he's still the 2nd best QB in the league.

I don't like all these qualifiers when it comes to Vick.

His stats suck. Mostly because he's not a very good passer.

That is something that could be misleading in 1 game, but over the course of a career, the stats don't lie.

FUCKING FALCONS.

I started Vick and Duckett in my fantasy league. They had, between the two of them, 1.96 points. This is the first week of the playoffs. Goodbye, championship hopes, despite a monster performance from Tiki last night. Sigh.

And yes, maybe Vick isn't the best choice for a Fantasy QB, but he got me this far. This week was just a spectacular failure.

Along with 3 TDs and for 274 yards.

Vick did make it to over 100 yards passing though.

122 passing yards with 47 coming on their very last drive.

Excellent quarterbacking.

sounds about right. Was trying to think what offense would be better or on par with them.

Packers? Denver? Saints?

They are all in this year but that defense is still extermely weak. Osi is not much of an upgrade over Abraham. I think the key will be the OL this year they lost McClure and Clabo and the OL had some lapses I believe the Panthers had a lot of sacks/knockdowns/pressures in Atlanta.

most of the Braves fans I know who live in NC are pretty diehard

I think its just those fake bitches who actually live in Atlanta who are so fairweather it would make Miami fans seem passionate

The guy from Emory that came on Gold and Ovies didn't seem to know shit about the numbers they were plugging in. Didn't know UNC 'estimated' attendance.

It's been a while since I lived in Atlanta, but I know the reason I did not go to as many Braves games as I wanted was due to the horrible traffic and the MARTA stopped running at 11 or something so it made it hard to get to and from games.

With the Falcons, there is no excuse for the fans to not be there for all 8 Sundays. I grew up a Falcon fan, but have never been die hard about any ATL team except the Braves. I actually find myself rooting for the Chargers/Seahawks as much as teams now just because I want Rivers and RW to do well.

People hatin' on the capital of the south

Oh, and regarding the braves/marlins fans comparisons, can someone please show me the last year the braves weren't at least in the top half in MLB in attendance? just curious...

exactly, so its not all fans of Atlanta teams...but its pretty common knowledge that sports fans in cities like Atlanta and Miami are about as bandwagon as they come...its simply an objective fact
