i'm seeing it tonight with a bunch of people for free at the raleigh grande...one of the managers at crossroads (i believe) has already seen it and said that it is much crazier than saw and very disturbing...i'll post after i see it tonight and we'll have a review up on http://www.moviesbythor.com that you all can check out...

yep...i'm guessing all the theaters around here have it...i know the raleigh grande does, so crossroads probably does since it's a consolidated theater too...

Just saw it.

Nooooot really that great.

Not any bloodier or gorier than Saw or Saw II, with the exception of one or two parts. And both Saw movies had better stories.

almost went to see it tonight. Ill probably rent it but after one of my friends who works at a theatre in Greensboro saw it, and told me how disappointed he was with it I didnt feel like spending full movie theatre pricing to see it for now. (he and I have nearly identical tastes in movies).

i like some gory horror but im really picky when it comes to horror. IE i havent liked hardly any horror films that have come out in a long time.

but it was a better movie than i expected too. i loved it.

and i would say that the people who didn't like this are the ones who didn't like cabin fever. seems that way with my friends so far. i loved both of em.

I’ve already heard tales of some girl passing out and having to be carried out of this film at a theater in town, that’s stupid. That girl should have been in the movie her mom bought a ticket for…..more than likely Cheaper by the Dozen 2. This is getting long. In closing, if I just watched this movie without all the adverts for it, I would probably love this film. But because all the previews try to make this movie look so much more bad ass than it is i expected more and therefore was a bit disappointed with it."

good review by thor. i wasn't actually expecting too much going in, like a plot and acting and so forth, so i was pleasantly surprised. i was disappointed with how tame it was though. it isn't amazing, but i think it's definitely worht seeing.

also, i read some interviews by eli roth and quentin that made me appreciate it a lot more. u could figure it out on your own too, but its commentary on exploitation and objectification of humans adds a lot. thus the plethora of breasteses.nothing extremely profound, but excellent for a horror/thriller.

and a/b quentin whoring his name out, yea it's annoying, but he actually was an executive producer for this one. which still doesn't mean a lot, but it means more than him just saying "i approve."

saw it last night. a few people left during it. one lady got mad and had a fit afterwards about how horrible it was how much it made her sick. she lost it.

but, i really didnt think it was that bad. they could held the suspense much much longer and thats what i was apprehensive about in the first place. i mean the killed the first guy in a minute..

pretty weak story, no twists, no surprises, cleverness, etc. lots of naked chicks.

over all i dont think its worth paying to see.

if people are getting sick at nearly every screening, then it was completely rediculous to give it an R rating

thats bullshit. in SAW, they couldnt even show a guy sawing his own leg off, the MPAA made them cut frames of that, yet in this movie it sounds like just becuase tarantino put his name on this movie it sounds like they got away with everything.

it should be NC17.

All this time I thought Tarantino had directed it b/c that's the name you see huge on the sign in the theater. I can't stand the guy. I'm not sure if I want to see this movie now that I hear there is enough gore to sicken people. Haven't seen Cabin Fever b/c of the same info.

Oh yeah there was a mom with a LITTLE kid -- like 3-4 years old -- in the theater when I went to Saw II.

And yesterday at this one, a mom bought tickets for what looked like her 11 and 12 year old boys. That first sex scene must have been nice sitting next to mom.
