I've never understood the wristbands on the elbows and the upper arms. Back when i was a QB, this would have felt un-natural.

Which QB will have more passing yards in the game: (Both must play)

(110) P. Julmiste
(-130) J. Davis

So according to pickspal.com, Jay Davis is not only playing, but should have more passing yards.

^ so who took us to the bowl game?
Stone won more games than Davis - twice as many actually.

You don't have to admit that Stone is a better fit at QB for NC State than Davis, the numbers prove it.

damnit fuck, charlie says someting correct.

I was about to post that the reason we succeded with Stone is BECAUSE he is not as good as Jay. This forced us to use a different game plan...RUN THE FUCKING BALL, but it also allowed us to throw it deep just a few times a game to back up the defenses. Yeah, its not going to pad your stats, but its safe, and wont lose us games.

Now if we just had an offensive line for those running backs.....

^^^If our defense wouldn't show up it wouldn't matter much like many games this year like Clemson and BC. He is saying that our team got better because we didn't depend on our QB. We used our running backs and defense to start winning games.

I'M NOT READING ANYTHING AFTER THIS COMMENT...THAT IS THE DUMBEST SHIT I'VE EVER HEARD....STONE MIGHT NOT BE ANY BETTER BUT ITS A MATTER OF CONFIDENCE....IF STONE CAN FINISH THE SEASON WITH A BOWL VICTORY AGAINST A PRETTY GOOD TEAM IN USF THEN HE WILL BE MUCH MORE CONFIDENT GOING INTO NEXT YEAR......JAY SHOULDN'T EVEN SUIT UP FOR THE GAME...HE SUCKS

They both suck and wouldn't have a chance of playing at any decent program. I don't care who starts at quarterback, so long as our defense shows up(and I'm hoping that they can keep the penalties to a minimum). I'll be happy once this year is over. This year's team was the most disappointing that I've had to watch. At least with OCain you knew going in that they were going to stink it up.

you're obviously not going to have as many opportunities to throw an interception

------------------------

Davis should throw more interceptions considered he average 100 YARDS MORE passing per game. And its a total of 2 more interceptions.

------------------------

stone 135 attempts over 8 games =17 passes a game

davis 180 attempts over 6 games =30 passes a game"

There's some pretty simple math you guys can perform to sort that out, you know....

Davis:
180 attempts
divided by
8 interceptions
equals
22.5 attempts per interception

Stone:
135 attempts
divided by
6 interceptions
equals
22.5 attempts per interception

Davis:
180 attempts

Stone:

considering how shitty our offensive line is, the quarterback who doesn't run backwards for 20 yards before being sacked is the better quarterback for our team. Thus, Stone is the better quarterback for our current team.

If either one of them had played behind the offensive line that Phillip Rivers had, they would have looked a lot better.

The team moved the ball (forward) when Stone was in, and was stationary or in reverse when Davis was in. While noone can say for sure whether Stone would have won the game, anyone with a reasonable grasp on reality that was at that game knew that he gave the team a much better chance than Davis. It's hard to come from behind and win when you can't move the ball.

the INTs/fumbles are included in that

basicaly any drive where we dind't make a first down, excluding end of half/games

29+ 3-and-outs = 4 wins, 1 loss

19+ 3-and-outs = 2 wins, 4 losses

I like how you claim Jay is better because he had fewer 3-and-outs.

I think we were better this season with the QB who went 4-1.

Are you saying he has better stats? What is the sense of quarterbacks?

Which with our O-line is something that the QB needs to have.

Anyway you want to slice it, Davis found 2 - Stone found 4.
If they're both blind squirrels Stone has the better nose.

yeah, watching Andre Brown have his comming out party in the second half sucked, although the first half of that game blew cock.

You guys are like broken records. Stop arguing about quarterbacks...this was done months ago. Start arguing about the running backs and defense that picked up after the wake game.....

........and the fact that the clemson game was the last one where where penalties were an issue.

Haha this thread was a joke now look at it. I don't understand why it's being argued. All I hope is that Stone isn't the starter next year and we get Shaeffer who then hands the reins to Burke after his 2 years.
