The hours are good. I get paid to watch sports. I have the best boss one could hope for. Minus 3 for pay.

I heard you made good bank Michael...?
My previous job: 9.5/10 Great management, felt like family, 9.50/hr. for a part-time job, choose own hours, easily covered if you need a day off on short notice, easy, fun work, only negative was it was retail and sometimes customers can be completely insane.
I'm still looking for a new job.12/30/2005 4:39:15 PM |

I'ma say close to ten.
It's the EASIEST job I've ever had in my life. I sit in a chair, make Ramen noodles and coffee, and play on the computer. The pay sort of reflects the amount of work I do, of course, but it's more like a break than like a job. 12/30/2005 4:56:44 PM |

8.5 out of 10
2/3 managers are good
coworkers are good
benefits are good
-1 because pay is only decent (but I cant knock it too hard since it's my own fault I dont have a degree)

id say 9/10
good salary good location good benefits overtime pay even though im on salary i work with very smart people (and a lot of young people) i am challenged its interesting work good management loose hours....i can come and go as i want great job security (we can never be moved to another country) great leadership programs, and plenty of opportunities to get noticed
the only downside i would say is some of the big business bureaucracy i have to deal with....but its not as bad here as other big businesses ive worked for. 1/12/2006 9:31:44 AM |

salary + bonus for meeting the sales plan for the year
i have about 20 people on staff- but most are pretty young and volatile (calling out sick too much, horsing around too much) which is the first point off
minus another for staying late every day (being on salary and a manager in retail you may find yourself working for free a lot)
one minus one more for the job being retail (having to "suggestively sell" all of the time, dealing with rude customers, working late fridays and saturdays)
Can't wait for grad school. .. 1/12/2006 10:04:29 PM |
