I'll tell you what, it's not off topic if the thread starter mentions it

The answer you seek is, there is no difference. The correct answer is, take your strawman and put him in somone else's field. Seriously, I don't know if you post much in the Soap Box or not since I am a rookie, but for you sake, I hope you don't.

Thanks for finally answering the question we've asked five times.

If you agree that there is no difference between immigrants sending money home and trade, then do you think we should stop all trade?

This isn't a strawman, btw.

It certainly is. His argument isn't well formed, and doesn't even belong in this context of meth heads and paying them to begin with. I offer up a solution to the problem of immigrants, give a few ways replacing them with meth heads could be beneficial to our economy, and he tries to equate buying foreign goods with money going back via immigrants. Sure you can make that argument, but I don't care to do it here because this isn't the place. Go make a new thread.

What is clear is that if we only analyze the effect of replacing immigrant labor, where they are transferring money back home, with incarcerated meth heads, assuming this was nearly a 1v1 switch (meth heads might not be as productive, guards needed to guard them, can actually pay them less than the immigrants, etc) then the net effect from that 10 billion a year staying in the US is most definitely a positive.

Hey, I got an idea. If you don't want ignorant, irrelevant material in your thread, don't fucking introduce it in the first place.

I'm out.
