some tiny scraps of 4x4 and a 48" peace of 2x4 or something else i can make my cross member out of i wanna try to hang the axle this weekend cuz of the warm weather

all i've got in square stock is 2x2 and 3.5x3.5. if you want to buy a whole stick of 2x4, i'd buy whatever you don't use from you.

dunno, i think the last time i bought a 20ft. piece it was around 50 bucks. that was before steel prices went up so much though.

none that i want to sell, sorry. i use it alot for boxing brackets, capping ends, gussets, etc. how much do you need? you can get smaller pieces of plate from lowes, etc.

nah i need fairly large pieces of it....at least 18"x24" or bigger

any ideas?

apex steel will sell smaller sizes, try them. otherwise, you'll have to get a whole 4x8 sheet from dillon or something. dillon will cut it up into smaller sizes, but you still have to buy/take the whole piece though...

for the cross member stuff, go with 1/4", weighs a bit more, but will have plenty o beef...just design and brace it well
