this has nothing to do with the cubs not winning, i think it is pretty common knowledge that the term "loveable losers" implies acceptance with losing

this is clearly not the case with ncsu basketball

I think it's more the fact that this is the team that waxed George Washington, waxed BC, and hung very very tightly with Duke


And has needed double OT to beat Clemson, barely beat a terrible Wake Forest team, and just lost to a shitty GT team. We lose games we have no business losing, and that has been the demise of many an NCAA team.

Upsets are going to happen, but NCSU masters the art of letdowns.

(And oddly enough, this isn't a problem that only the basketball team has)

NC State = "What could have been". It's quite frustrating being an NC State fan. This game isn't the end of the world, but our team has sucked since the Seton Hall debacle and show no signs of recovery. We need to win our ACC games.... and we're progressively getting worse
