I didnt see the game, but from what I hear, GT didnt even try to defend him half the time, and he probably didnt see a double team all night.

I'm sure there's plenty of fouling you can do one on one though, and judging by the 19 free throws shot, I'm gonna assume he got his fair share called for him.

that said, let me clarify that i hate that googly eyed mother fucker. i wish JJ more success than hansbrough. i've never seen a big man get away with so much shit. how can any center not pick up his first foul until the 2nd half on a regular basis? i think its safe to say the UNC sway is back in the ACC. it was gone with doherty, weak when roy first got there, but after last year its definitely back in full force.

^^ i see "arms straight up in the air" all the time called for a foul. once tonight on ced, twice tonight on brackman; shooter initiates contact to draw the foul, it gets called (just not on hansbrough).

ask anyone who really knows basketball (not some UNC walmart fan); they'll all tell you that playing solid hustle defense will always result in 2-3 fouls/game. You cant tell me hansbrough is so lightening quick that he's incapable of fouling while playing good D.

Hansborough should be on a step count. Count the steps he takes after he picks up his dribble. His average is probably 4.25 steps after he lifts the dribble. Take away all the shots me makes after taking 4 steps, and he's not even in double digits per game.

listen people, I hate that fucker as much as the next guy, but Gtech OBVIOUSLY had a gameplan that involved playing him super physical last night. Didn't you see all the replays they showed of him going for dunks and rebounds and getting HAMMERED by Gtech? I agree that this kid gets more calls than jordan, but he really did take a pounding last night.

now, on the other side, he had a few obvious fouls that they didn't call on him and a couple missed traveling calls as usual.

Not conspiracy theory, but I do feel he has gotten the nod from the ACC to basically do whatever he wants. He takes more steps without dribbling than any other player in the ACC combined. He also goes over the back on almost every rebound with no calls. Initiating contact automatically results in a blocking foul, and reach-ins result in held balls (which kinda makes sense for a UNC player)....

It all boils down to Hansborough being the golden child of the ACC. Everyone complained about Sheldon Williams, but even he can't get this many calls to go his way.
