well, for the record I did not say that it was the worst movie ever, I just thought that it sucked

gore/dismemberment/etc. is all fine and dandy when going to see a movie, but if I'm going to pay 7.50+ for a movie I want there to be a little bit more to the movie than just that kind of shit. I'd suggest waiting til it comes out on DVD or HBO

In Ultraviolets case though, that movie just sucked, definetly have to put that in the top 5 worst movies I've ever seen list.

How could you not know what you were getting into? It was a freakin remake! And a damn good one at that. It's not like there was much more they could do with a story about people getting attacked by mutants in the middle of the destert.

When the dad was lit on fire and the mutants were raping the girl while having a 45 caliber dirty harry style pistol pointed at a baby's head and then pulling the trigger letting the audience think the baby was blown away but it ended up being the mother, I was pretty sick to my stomach. You have to be fucked up in the head to like this movie

It was pretty freaky, I think I would've liked it better if I hadn't seen the original first. It was too similar. That's why I liked the Texas Chainsaw remake, it was almost completely different.

i thought about walking out at one point, it was a little too intense compared to what i usually watch (specifically the scene in the trailer). But i stuck it out and by the end I liked it a lot. I thought it was a good film. Meaning a good film should invoke emotions and/or thought. The trailer scene made me feel very uncomfortable, but that's how i would expect to feel if i saw any one of the things going on in that scene in person (not quite that intense, but as far as a movie goes, it was). So for that I applaud the director. And by the end the audience was supporting the main character who everyone thought was a douchebag at first. And i liked that riff they played throughout the climax. By the end I just saw it as campy, and at times cheesy fun. They knew all along that they were making a "hey this has some gut wrenching scenes, but serisously, listen to this music we're playing and the angles we're shooting from when the protaginist goes off, if you don't realize this is all just for a good time, then this movie isn't for you" kinda movie. If you get to a point where you think it's too much just remind yourself that it's just a fucking movie.

someone decribed the "trailer scene" (as i'm calling it) on the first page claiming it wasn't a spoiler and not an important scene, but it is in fact a spoiler of one of the most important scene. So don't read through the whole thread if you want to see it. How can a description of the most horrific scenes in a "horror" movie not be a spoiler? Not to mention it's a scene based on "oh my god are they really showing that" (i.e. shock), how can knowing about it beforehand not spoil the effect to some degree?

I enjoyed this movie except for a few things:

1) Is the sister pregnant with a mutant baby? It should have ended with her in a delivery room.
2) Why didn't it show them getting out of the desert?
3) Why the fuck would you blow up your trailer with all your supplies to kill one motherfucker. YOU HAVE A GUN!
4) Where were the tits? You can't spell horror without "hor."
5) The pussy filmmakers didn't kill the baby. For once I would like to see a movie that has the balls to kill the baby.

This movie was fucking stupid. In fact, all horror movies these days are fucking stupid. They don't scare me or shock me, all they do is make me mad at how amazingly retarded the characters act.

For example:

Hills have Eyes:

That dumb fucking idiot of a kid got half his family killed because he's too fucking emo to do a God Damn thing. Ever. If I seriously saw my dog gutted on a rock, I'd have fucking let the entire world know about it. Secondly, why did he blow his trailer up? Why bother even carrying a gun if you shoot worse then a handless cripple playing CS?

Wolf Creek(even worse):

THERE'S A FUCKING CORPSE HANGING ON THE WALL. YOU JUST SHOT THIS PSYCHO, WHO WAS ABOUT TO RAPE YOUR FRIEND, IN THE NECK...THERES A FUCKING CORPSE HANGING ON THE WALL!

saw this a couple weeks ago...

Thought it was good. I think the director nailed the genre he was going for. Maybe at first, the movie was a little slow... but by the end it fucking ruled!!!

I wanna see the original to compare.

this movie was ok at best. it stirred up lots of emotion while i was watching it but most of was me yelling "u fuckin iddiot". this was the biggest family of iddiots ever

i mean really who stabs a guys who has a gun in the leg and wais while he aims the gun at ur head NO u stab that bitch somewhere between the chin and the collar bone multiple times and u don't stop till he drops the gun.

the baby's daddy was the worst though first he walks out and finds a crater of vehicles, doens't think to see if any of them run he just brings back useless shit. then he pics up the walkie talkie and starts talkin shit "Wheres my baby!?!"" like they are really gonna tell him NO U STUPID FUCK DONT LET THEM KNOW U CAN HEAR THEM OVER RADIO. then he walks into the house where his baby is not knowing anything about whats going on inside.TURN OFF THE FUCKIN GENERATOR then wait and see who comes out... the list of dumb shit he does goes on and on

my favorite character was actaully the dog beast he asked no questions and didn't take any shit.

the movie itself sucked pretty bad but its worth seeing just for the sickness of it. i watched this movie with 2 10 year olds and my mom thinking it would be your average horror movie. the trailer scene was just out of control. one of the craziest scense ive ever seen in a movie. gg

what the fuck was up with the guy drinking the breast milk?

the only sense of creativity and plot this movie had was the ruby character and how she saved them at the end.

and to whoever asked

they didnt make it out of the desert. goggle was watching them at the end and they probobly wont make it out if there is a sequal.
