yeah i dont like the fact that the menubar isnt at the top of the screen [after enabling "Classic Menus" too]. they went backwards in terms of layout. i like Firefox's layout the best honestly but the complaints stand....high memory usage and doesn't render certain pages correctly.

^ turn off ClearType in the IE options. it helps LCD but makes CRTs look like ass [font-wise].

my machine now takes a long time to boot once I login after installing IE7.

Anyone else have this problem?

try

control panel -> sounds and audio devices

Sounds tab

Under program events scroll down to windows explorer

Start Navigation is the clicky sound
