Kyle is a great guy...I met him at his motorcycle conventions a couple of times.....he will sit and talk to anyone about anything.....very thankful of what he has to offer the world with his name.

^^ i agree. its like you get drunk before, but you get in, and your beer is there, and you smell exhaust and rubber and the cars are flyin around everywhere, then theres a fucking wreck, so you drink more for the wreck, then pound one before they come back around on the caution. i just get tingles thinkin about it.

^^^Crew chief, not the driver. The driver has VERY little say in the mechanics of the car. They drive it and say what needs to be better, and the chief directs the fixing. You might should know that if you want that racing job.

I can not believe I went to work today; I have a Huge....HUGE....hangover from yesterday.
Watching the race I was disturbed by Tony Stewart.....he was hitting people all over the track all day long, and NASCAR didn't really respond the way they should have. Going to the back of the pack at Daytona is to light. Also did he not say that everyone was going to die one week before because of wreck-less driving?

Also, Jimmie Johnson should not have been allowed to race, his crew chief cheated, and look at the results.....like he didn't "know" what his crew chief was doing, and how many times has Chad Knaus done this? Sponsorships are probably what let him not have a punishment……

one of my teams cheated at talladega during qualifying a couple of years ago ... the drivers knew in advance what the crew chief's strategy was, and that they would alter the roof flaps, so air would pass over the spoiler easier.
i highly doubt that JJ didn't know what was going on. if he's that aloof and unconcerned with the mechanics of his car, then someone needs to drag his preppy ass out of his motorhome and shackle him to the hood of the 48 so he'll be more clued in next time.

By the way, JJ did not lose any points (of course, b/c that would hurt Golden Boy), but Knaus was suspended until Bristol, and fined $25,000. Terry Labonte, on the other hand, was deducted 25 points. Funny how that works.

This weekend promises to be a typical Cali race......which is exactly like a Michigan race.....gas mileage battle usually (sometimes not). I get bored during these races; I am a short track fan myself. I have never been to California Speedway, but I have been to Michigan twice, so miss wulf, you have to take some pics. I have to convert all my old pictures onto the computer(someday I will get with the program and get a digital), eventually I will post some pics from the 80s and 90s for everyone to see.

Qualifying for the truck race starts at 1, that race is tonight at 9pm.....late night drinking for me.
Also, the latest on the Jimmie Johnson shit, the newspapers are filler with "Hendrick bounces back from adversity". They gave a lot of credit for a strong organization....etc. What ever man, I could have filled the crew chief spot and won the race with that car....give me a break.
