heck half the artists on the radio today have terrible voices. unfortunately you can edit the crap out of em anymore.

I'd much rather listen to Corgan's voice than everybody else's voice in rock today.
Everybody mainstream these days are either rip offs of the Green Day singing style (which is probably a rip off of other shit, but sounds like he's from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure) or the Nickleback "I have to take a square-shaped dump" singing style (which is a rip off of Creed, which is a rip off of Pearl Jam. Just like in Multiplicity, it gets more retarded each generation).
Corgan might not have much singing potential, but he was smart enough to use it creatively and to its maximum. It worked extremely well, and much better than the fucking turds you find floating around on the radio. 3/16/2006 1:21:49 PM |

I definitely don't like 99.9999% of the crap on (or even off, I have no tolerance for entertainment these days) the radio. For example, Coheed and Cambria...all it takes is the opening notes from one of their songs, and the radio is off. And I definitely admit to halfway liking a couple Smashing Pumpkins songs (I used to really like "Zero," but like I said, no tolerance for anything these days). But even those few songs leave me questioning the appeal of Billy Corgan. I'm definitely not saying anything I like is better. I'm just saying I don't get it.3/16/2006 2:20:15 PM |

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET.
I never got to see the original lineup (it is all four, right?).
I saw them without Jimmy in '98, just Billy and James in '00, and without D'arcy in '01...but my mom wouldn't let me hit the big show by myself in '96.
