I've followed Gordon since he was driving the diet pepsi sprint on thursday night sprint car racing on ESPN..

as far as favorites go, I'd have to say Denny Hamlin is my fave, just because I met him at Southampton like 4 summers ago, when he and Mark McFarland were teammates. He was a very nice guy and very easy going.

I would be willing to bet that none of you even have any clue where the "gay" b.s. came from without some extensive googling. And throwing it out everytime that you see the name "Jeff Gordon" really makes you look stupid. People that do not like Jeff & Jimmie are just sore losers because their driver can't beat them. They're both great drivers and they know what their cars can do. As far as the trash throwing, you should have watched the race Sunday and listened to the commentators when they started that mess.

And I'm not just saying that about Jeff & Jimmie because I pull for them, but I am not a sore loser either. For example, I do not like Tony Stewart because of the person that he is. But I will tell anyone that he is one hell of a driver and he earned his #1 last year -sort of, some of it was dirty racing- because of his driving. (However, he was 43rd in my book because of the person that he is.)

How can people throw trash at someone who just won his first race at your track and is really happy to have achieved that. But when someone climbs the fence at Daytona, you're all over him although he just said "Man, I can't wait to get out of Daytona. It's been a loooong week and I can't wait to leave." And all the fans that were all over him had on RED, not ORANGE or his name anywhere on them.

Yeah it sucks for Kenseth, he was going to be first in points before Gordon ran up on him.

I'm suprised he wasn't penalized for it. Gordon even admitted following the race that he accelerated so it was pretty blatent.

And what Kenseths doing isn't whining, it's trying to argue his case to have Gordon penalized, the same way that any other drive would do. Do you not remember that Gordon was the one that shoved Matt when Matt went to try and apologize to him after he spun him out before?

It seems like Matt has just had some really bad luck this season with other racers taking him out.

After this, he started winning more than earnhardt and they really hated him. He seemed like a fag in relation to the other drivers around him. This was in the 90s, not the last 5 years bethaleigh. Other suspicions were when his wife left him and his crew chief basically was fired. The rumor was that she caught them together

From what I saw Gordon got a huge run on him, Kenseth slipped or something and Gordon didnt come off the gas and neither would I... Mears should have been out of the picture however and moved farther up the track to let the leaders go...

I used to absolutely hate Gordon, now I dont so much, I hate JJ more... but I like the way Gordon has been stirring it up lately and all Matt Kenseth seems to be doing lately is complaining about something... props to Gordon for moving his ass out of the way and it was a good race because my top 3 favorite drivers finished in the top ten (Jr, Stewart, Kurt Busch)

as usual erice talks out of his ass, gordon distributed a shit load of fake autographs in the 90s ( using a machine). In the old days you could send in cars, pictures, etc. to the race shops and they would autograph them and then send it back. Earnhardt might take 4-6 months, but you’d get his signature. Gordon had a machine do it for him, ruined a lot of peoples merchandise. On top of that, he was a dick to everyone all the time when you would see him in real life. I imagine you never met him because you'd fucking agree with me then.
I agree with you about Jr. as well, but he is just like gordon, a spoiled brat that is a dick to his fans. ( and this is coming from an earnhardt fan)

Jr. isn't really that big of a dick. I've met him 3 times, twice before the 600 and he's always signed anything i had and been for the most part friendly. And i say for the most part b/c he has a naturally shy demeanor.

and i am a JR fan and from my point of view i say what Gordon did was totally fine and good for the sport. Its racing and sometimes it gets a little dirty.
