They definitely last all day, I have to drink a water every hour or so or I can't make it.

Alltel won't let any show run over 11:00pm (at least none that I've been to since 2003) so I'd assume 11:00pm

it isnt that bad... its more of an experience. a few friends and i will chug some liquor before we go in. granted it is very hot and shit is expensive its one of the more fun days during summer, it isnt often you get to see so many awesome bands. ive popped my shoulder out there before, and my friend has had to lay down cuz of the heat, but its worth it. and everyone should check out Cartel, theyve played a bunch of shows at the brewery and have stayed with my friend here in charlotte, they are awesome guys and kick ass live

I just got offered a free ticket, so it looks like I am going. Unfortunately I'm going to have to have photography gear on me, which will suck because that means I'll have to be responsible.

I went to the show in Miami on Saturday. It was downtown on BayFront Park near where I live and I got a ticket for $25. Awesome venue. I was impressed with the smaller acts.

It rained the entire time and was a mudfest. I got covered in shit, but I expected that.

It was fun. I think some of the bands were a bit cheesy, but the Bouncing Souls and Catch 22 were the best. Joan Jett looks like she got run over by a semi. Too bad I missed Helmet and the Buzzcocks, they played early at about noon.

Pretty badass experience. The rain kept everything cool, although it limited my shooting. I got to be on stage shooting during Thursday and Rise Against, and I was front row for everything else. I love press priveledges. I got spit on by singers and kicked by Under Oath's bassist, and hit with one of AFI's guitars, but it was rad being so close.

Oh, and during AFI, Davey hopped off the stage, and since I was the biggest thing around he used my shoulder to hop on and off. [/starstruck]

my big question is that if it was published everywhere, even on the tickets, that it started at noon, why the hell did they start at 11?

Emery sucks.

And I saw Paramore a few months ago at the Brewery. hailey is definitely banging. She's only 17 too. They aren't that good of a band, but I don't mind watching.

your mom sucks

and paramore wasnt really that good
much more generic sounding than i expected.

i thought that's what he said, but yea i could be completely wrong, someone else that was there hop in and tell us

(I'm pretty sure he said something to the effect of 'this could turn out bad', but maybe i just imagined the "never done this b4" part.)
