the environments ar ekinda boring in pgr. i had 1 and 2 but i got kinda tired of the series. im not a big racing fan as it is (sans twisted metal, carmaggeddon, kart, etc)

i finally got my media center pc properly connected to my 360...had to switch from domain to workgroup...its cool though...i can watch all the stuff i dvr'd on my computer, through my xbox on my big screen...let alone music and all that mess

right now the xbox360 is in a '3DO' spot. great graphics, but no 'great' games and a high price...

that could change but so far it really hasn't

im sorry there is no way they are comparable. I'm pretty sure 3DO was way more expensive, which is even more rediculous considering how much games cost back then.

sounds about right considering that at least one of their competitors will be half that price or less on launch...

there are NO games out for the 360 that justify, to me, buying a 360

unless you have an HD TV, which most people don't still (this will change soon however) there really isn't much purpose to buying a 360 IMHO

yeah, the PS3 will be about 1/2 of the 360.

nintendo has already said they arent trying to compete with ps3 and 360. same market, but none of us know enough about revolution to say much else. OMGZ plug in pacman joysticks are 1/20th of the price and already comes with 6 games. how is MS still afloat!?!?!?!?

and the 3DO analogy is sitll dumb, even after ur explanation. MS is one of the 3 major systems now, 3DO was a new entrant basically (though so was ps and it romped). even if you consider nintendo a major thread, the 360 still isnt overly expensive compared to the last generation of consoles.

hdtv does make it look mighty sexy though. i would still buy a 360 either cuz the games are fun and a ton of good ones are coming soon.
